Setting default application when opening pdf attachments from email | 4 easy ways

Hi, i dont hv adobe yet and currently using MS Edge to open PDF file. But when I open the PDF file directly from Outlook/File explorer, the file will just keep downloading and won't open. When I open it after done downloading, it will download the file again and again. May i know how can i fix this issue?
