this song is everything everyone describes it as. one reoccurring theme is the sense of dread and ache. it’s imbedded in the instrumental, voice, ambience, etc. for me even the warm but sullen artwork is exactly what i imagine this song would look like. for me it reminds me of fall, disappointment but content, comfort in independence, and weirdly enough my future apartment. it’s like i lived through an era i never did. this song sits with me so profoundly simply through the emotions i’d evokes. i long for the first time i listened to it and AIC in general 3 years ago - I was 15!
i want to meet everyone who likes this song and especially those with deep emotion ties to it. i absolutely love all you & wish to tell you that this crazy world needs you and wouldn’t be the same without you 🖤🌲🍂

Remember doing a lot of meth to these songs. From reading the comments, I guess I was not the only one in the 90s like that. I thank God I never became addicted but I can sure sympathize with those who did as many people I know did not come out well on the other side. Just a stupid little girl growing up in Arkansas. But I miss those days, those friends, those highs. It is what makes us who we are.

The bass in this song is amazing. It has a very deep Pacific North West sound. To me the bass reminds me of the Pacific Ocean!
