To be honest, anybody that gets paid millions of dollars to get in a boxing ring play football basketball baseball whatever the sport may be knows the risk of what could happen to them know it’s your job and that’s what you decided to do.

STOP IT! The amount of money you make in one fight is huge compared to those of us in fire/ems service, law enforcement and military risking our lives for chump change. You're likely to get hurt, but we are likely to die. You can stop a fight but we can never stop our incident.

Always supported Gollota when he stopped during one match because his head was ringing.
He knew he was hurt and in teouble, and everyone abused him, including his own corner, and they took his fee away, didnt pay him.
They'd rather he got brain damage.
Uncool

Look at what happened to Gerald McClellan after he faced Nigel Benn. It’s tough to see, boxing isn’t like the other sports. In boxing, you even take more brain damage and organ damage because in MMA, the gloves are so little, that when you get hit hard, you knock out. However in boxing, brain trauma and organ damage is increase due to the padding of the gloves stopping knock outs from happening so easily and with this causes more damage to the fighter through more rounds.

You have a choice in life. I have been a pro fighter. That was my choice.
But I stopped. When I had a family. My choice in life wasn't...I fight. Or I'm broke. Forced to fight to feed a family. Don't be dumb. The excuse that 'its all I know' no. Its all you want to know. 'But I came from the streets' yes life is hard, but you can change it. If you give a man the chance to earn big money for fighting. He'll take it because its easier than education. Its easier than learning how to speak properly. It's easier than doing a degree in a subject of utility in a discipline that's in demand and returns hundreds of thousands of pounds a year. That's way way way harder than fighting.

10 weeks of running 6 miles a day. Thousands of press ups sit ups and squats. Hundreds of rounds of sparring. And then fighting another man at the end.

Is fuck*ng easier by orders of magnitude than becoming a man of social utility and a good man, honest hard working, a high earning individual of worth.

Fighting is fuck*ng nothing compared to that.
In 5 years I got way more return fighting than I did from 5 years of a degree.
Talk to me about a struggle and people not understanding.
Fighting is way way easier.
It's dangerous. Very. But its easier.
