STALKER 2 - What The Hell Is Going On With A-LIFE 2.0?

A-Life is what make the game legendary. Without it, the game is just a good looking, buggy FPS game.

It is a huge, huge mistake. Without alife it is just another open world game, but worst because they spawn where you were a second ago and no one was there.

I’ve had a blast so far with it. And I’ll replay it when they fix everything. The game is super fun to me. I’m on series X runs pretty damn good evening in towns

I don´t get it. Yes the Studio had some really hard time with the war and everything but that is way there is on option sell your game in a state like this called "Early access". As the author of the video mentioned it´s not like bugs and performance issues, it is a major feature of the game... Just be honest, say it is an early access game and you sell it less then full price, that would have been fair

I think people should just stop crying and enjoy the game its still amazing and they didnt even have to make this game they could've simply quit when their nation went to war and got invaded

what about the terrible random frame drops down to sub 10fps. Ive had that happen like 10 times now. Also my game minimized to windows and i wasnt able to interact with said window , had to force close

It's pretty obvious they knew it wasn't ready before launch and just pretending its a bug. Guess is, they can't get performance good enough on console.

Nobody talks about it but I really hate they got rid of the super low crouch.

There IS NO A-life in 'stalker' 2, thats what. Just a soulless modern fps larping as stalker that couldn't even read the original lore..

MY PERSONAL REVIEW:
Only IDIOTS would complain about the bugs since the team were literally creating this game in a WAR ZONE! And team members who went to fight also died. They have a good REASON for it. That said, the visuals are blah and the difficulty is TOO HIGH!!! In the very beginning of the game I died countless times to some messed up looking dog. There is no reason why this one thing, whatever it was, should take 20 damn rounds to kill it. And you get hit your entire health bar is wiped out in seconds. I will pass! MY SCORE: 1/10

Its a great game and will be improved eventuallty. Its funny to see comments about how its unfinished, yet heavy hitters like Cyberpunk or Dying Light 2 were the same. And now they are brilliant games. Its just empty talk and noise.

Bro I keep getting shot by enemies not there, these fucking dogs are annoying more than anything, they're not challenging it's just infuriating. It's so fucking buggy and it's dogshit for a game in 2024.

Like how am I not getting the insta kill with a headshot 😂 it's not call of duty or battlefield. It's a survival sim that is realistic, so one bullet should only be needed, the recoil and weapon spread is god awful.

Plus this game wasn't really meant to be played on consoles, so that's why it's so bad 😂, there's achievements you can only get on the PC version, that should tell you all you need to know

That happened to me too just enemies spawning behind or in front of me, we're in modern gaming times, not the early days of the 90s. This is exactly why games don't do well anymore with all these new devs and companies. They hire people who can't do the job but get paid for it anyway. Why do you think Halo 3 was the peak of Halo? Is because they had an all male team, who knew what they were doing, who liked what they were doing and they didn't drop a bugged game like all these game studios have been doing. Like I'm just wanting a good fucking game and how long have we waited for this game and it's dogshit? So yeah you should be mad.

yeah played over 30 hours we got cyberpunked. Refunded It with gog and got my money back in like 10 minutes. Lot of people refunding because of no A-Life, too many bugs, Softlocks in Main Quest. Maybe I come back in two or three years.

GSC is a Cyprus company located in Prague founded by Microsoft, doubt they had real struggle. Supposed to polish the game in 2 years that it was delayed, but its still simply not finished.

If you're complaining about bugs, you've never played a stalker game.
All you do is criticize, which is easy to do. I would love to see how well you'd do in regards to programming a game, or you know talk about tangible fixes

I see a few people just walking around, but once you try and use a sniper scope, it really shows the problems. I always felt in stalker Your ment to be stalking around the zone slowly creeping. able to watch things happening around you like you're just another random guy with alife and not some god who, with your very presence, spawn life into an empty space.

There are 2 narratives here that could be true.
1. A life is just bugged right now and the devs are hard at work trying to fix it but it still should of worked on release and this is still a massive fuck up
2. A life was never in this game. The developers lied and released this game unfinished hoping that we were all too stupid to notice this and are just buying time to implement this system or worse yet never implement this feature.

God I'm happy that I've waited to buy the game. With all this A-Life stuff I'll not buy until it's fix for sure.
For me Stalker is A-Life, without it it's a Fallout a bit more creepy.

The game is so messed up they just dropped a 38gb PATCH tonight. 38gb is the biggest 'patch' I've seen in my entire life. Could of saved the Hindenburg with a patch that size.

A VERY GOOD GAME, WITH A GOOD PLOT AND EXCITING ATMOSPHERE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLAYING.
