I'm down for this game in VR, it's a very pretty game with a nice slow pace - perfect for slow-burn game play.

Vulkan should be implemented on all games sense all games run like shit on AMD Gpu's

I was a loyal player since day 1. Have put it down since December bc of rdr2 but checked my last save at it was 456 hours. That's what I consider a good game

I love NMS but quit playing because of my horrible PC performance... My PC is no weak link either... Ryzen 7 1700, RX580 8GB, and 16GB of Viper Ram dual channel. I couldn't get above 35 fps so I gave up with it. Recently tried the Vulkan update and OH MY GOD my frames are beyond 60 and I couldn't be happier!

I never once flamed hello games for this product. Because its all about the journey to the end goal! Thank you hello games for showing the industry your passion and commitment to finishing the product and making it the best it can be! And not just thinking about the money.

Ooh, interesting. The performance of the game is the big thing that's kept me from putting any serious time into it, on a decently powerful system it's never run "well" for me, even after doing a lot of tweaking, editing files, and trying out mods. I've actually returned it once because of it, I shouldn't have to spend the entire refund period trying to get it running right. I was pretty worried when I heard they were adding VR support, I don't think without an API update it would have been possible.

Yikes. Just downloaded the experimental update and wow, performance for me is way worse than before. No more stuttering, so that's good, but my FPS has been halved at best. I have to drop everything to rock bottom to somewhat stay at my 75hz refresh rate.

If the flying in nms didn't suck I would definitely play it

No Man's Sky is that nerd girl in 7th grade who wears braces. She ain't pretty at first but later on she'll be gorgeous as hell.

Tried the experimental... HOLY FUCK IT WORKS SO DAMN WELL!!!

pretty nice... NMS is going to be wonderful.... just one thing.. "more crafting sustances" that a problem, because the inventory slots suuuuucks as hell... so, many materials, stuff and so on, but low inventory capacity.

Is it still a tedious work simulator?

i think that nms and the close links with sony, and nms making a huge vulcan release tells us a lot about the possible gpu in ps5 ?

Destiny 2 and Anthem REALLY need to pay attention to this! It may have taken 5 yrs, but Hello Games gave us what was promised. Great job!

Just got the game yesterday... I kept freezing to death because there were no sodium plants nearby so in the hour I've played it I've done nothing lol

I hope Hello Games will have the praise they deserve because this game is fucking amazing. How can an indie studio make a game of this scale? I have to many games to play so for now I don't play NMS that much, but when I play it is the hardest to stop! I'm happy that Hello Games turn the things around.

Hey, if people like this game that's great! It really is. To each their own, right? But even with all these updates I feel like the one thing they haven't touched at all is by FAR the most important thing: Exploration. The game is still as empty as ever. There's still no point in collecting stuff.

Reshade is incompatible with Vulkan and playing No man's Sky without Reshade is impossible for me as Reshade improves drastically the game graphics.
I really hope the Vulkan migration will be optional, at least with the non DRM version of the game...

AMD support will bring me back...finally! I actually had game crash to desktop simply because I would swap between wall options for building bases...just toggling to the wrong one meant crash....painful days.

Vulkan API is the best!
It also can be used on all the platforms that I'm interested, Windows 7, Linux, Android!
All future games should use Vulkan!

I must admit...i'm impressed, with both, all content being FREE, and continued development, done under considerable pressure from its community and the industry in general Makes me wonder if most of the new content would ever have been conceived if the game hadn't had such a controversial release. But all's good. Might even bother firing this up when i'm in a retirement home.

Could they fix that issue with opening boxes and machines in a mutlplayer game in VR? Right now, one of the players can't use those things, because the menu never appears. The object just emits a BRIGHT white light and nothing happens.

DirectX still supported?

R6 has vulkan but my computer black screens and now this why does it load the game but have no image?:(
