I saw the original purple Speed 12 at the NEC motorshow way back. I recently stumbled across photos I took of it that day.

That's interesting, as I always believed there's only 1 TVR speed 12 and thats not it?
The only factory one is Red and lives in England, The 2 prototypes were cannibalized to make the road car.

TVR Speed 12 would have made the Bugatti Veyron irrelevant! A true example of British innovation - simply filling a gap in the market with a bit of thinking before acting. God I miss the old stool UK!

Just imagine if it was a mid engined car ! I mean it is already a cool machine being a front mid-engined car ,but it would do wonders with a mid engine layout ! But the only problems is the massive size of the v12 ! I guess it is better with the engine layout which it is having !

The owner of the speed 12 is the luckiest of all ! And those tuner cars ,which are liked only by the tuners ( I too love tuners ) ,are just loafers at front of the TVR !
