Do some research before you spew incoherent information. Samsung watch Ultra comes from the Gear Sport, their own line.
The Color "orange" is not proprietary to Apple. If so, Apple copied Hermes H08 watch.......and many others before them, including Home Depot, except Home Depot has been around since 1971 and Apple wasn't.

Let me school you please. Titanium Grade 4 is a very expensive material. Steel is a cheap material, both due to their production process and availability.
So, next time you can't answer a question, research some knowledge as to why one cost more than the other. Also size which obviously in this case it's visibly clear.

They didn't copy Crapple look back at the Gear Sport from 2017 they have improved on that design sure the band is pretty similar but the Gear Sport is where they took the design to the Ultra apart from the chunky bezel it had back then the shape is the same

I think it's just the band my 5 pro is in a full case with the band integrated in and it's a bit bigger the the 7 ultra as well as a gshock watch. I traded in a 6 classic 1 baught from Samsung 2 months ago pd 190.00 got 400.00 off the 7 ultra but I choose white so people will mistake for a gshock.

However, I have familiarised myself with the garmin, which is the more appealing choice

The apple watch ultra wasn't really copied, the galaxy watch ultra is similar in design to the gear s3 watch that I had years ago. Plus most diving watches have orange watch bands for high visibility.

This was a no-brainer for me.. I've had a watch5 pro for a year and a half that I paid approximately $400 for. The deal Samsung gave me on the watch ultra is a $50 instant rebate off the 699 that brought it down to $599 then they gave me an enhanced trade-in for my watch 5 pro of $350. That's a $400 discount. My new watch ultra was $250 plus tax. Again, that's a no-brainer and a done deal. I did read that others were saying in the UK they were only offering 150 (pounds) which seems weird vs the $350 here in the US.

AND.... the shape is a remake of Samsung's Frontier. If copying is an orange band and an orange button....🙄 Guys stop trying to measure your sticks.!! And as far as the name goes I will be getting a Samsung Galaxy watch ULTRA to go with my Samsung Galaxy s21 ULTRA versus an iPhone PRO Max and an Apple watch ULTRA. 🤔

No way it's a copy of Apple watch Ultra. Both have totally different shape and designs. Yes the strap is a look a like if Apple watch Ultra but watch design and share is totally different.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is better in every measurable way. However the Galaxy watch 7 is just the same old same old. It's only saving grace is it has all the new internals but it looks the same

Don't buy. Watch is overheating within 60 seconds if you connect to LTE and try to stream music and watch is standalone.

Samsung galaxy Watch Ultra isn't a copy of the Apple Watch Ultra, claiming such a thing is disingenuous.

The Galaxy WU using a classic cushion watch design, so their watch is designed more like a classical watch while the Apple watch is more like a calculator or your wrists. Even the design philosophies themselves are different.
I'm somebody that likes watches a lot and at one point I was obsessed with them, but because I didn't have money as I was in high-school I would bowse through Aliexpress and just look at watches for hours. I don't remember how many watches I saw with an orange button but there were a lot. I really don't understand why some people insist that "Samsung copied the orange button", orange doesn't belong to Apple and Apple didn't invent the orange watch button, not to mention the button on Samsung's watch is very different.

Now for what did Samsung take inspiration? Obviously for one of their bands and even here they made it slightly different, what's common are the holes on the sides of the band(i'm not mentioning the color because that's stupid). Now a detachable watch band isn't a permanent design element, you can't claim that the entire watch is a copy because of the band, that would be stupid.

All in all I say it's great that Samsung decided to make this watch. The more options there are the more competition it exists on the market the better it is for consumers.
