Off topic but I have a solution for the loose wheel situation on pit road.
At the end of pit road is a NASCAR official with an air gun to tighten a lug nut that is loose on the wheel that they notice before the driver leaves pit road.
This is this official's only function; it prevents those that don't have teammates further down pit road or if you've already passed your teammates pit box.
It prevents a loose wheel on the track, which is what everybody wants.
You can still send them to the back of the line if it's a yellow flag stop.
And with this official in place; you can state in the rules, that if you have a loose wheel on the car after you've left your pit box, the officials pit box is the pit box that you must stop in and not a teammate's pit box.
If it is a green flag stop you can hold them for 15 or 30 seconds; whatever way you wanna make the rule.

I'm a die-hard Blaney fan and that wreck was his fault. He pushed waaaay too hard.

Best car out there today, best driver with it. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.
