ОтветитьWILL DIY Detail have a booth at SEMA this year?
Ответить4 to 1 iso prop to distilled water has been a great glass cleaner for me
ОтветитьAny tips on reducing water marks / I find even with EGO leaf blower or rinseless Wash (Spray Rinse Spray) methods I am taking ages to get rid of water, feels never ending from cracks and crevices, is it absolutely crucial to be totally dry with your ceramic coatings/steps. I am due to apply the 3 year graphene soon
I also have a issue on windscreen with lint/etched in water marks and finding nothing working so far, is a polish with wool pad an option? (I’ve tried magic eraser, 0000 steel wool, glass spray, vinegar) is driving me mad!
Don't chase perfection, especially on a daily driver. One of the most valuable bits of advice they gave.
ОтветитьCan you use the yellow pad on a rotary? Cuts more then the red? I have your rotary/red pad but it didn't cut all the scratches but I dont want to invest in a da. Any issues with holograms vs just the red pad? I had good results with the rotary/red pad except but I would like to remove more scratches then the red pad can.
ОтветитьMay C6 APP be used before applying the 8-3 stack of ceramic coating?
Ответить1973 Volvo P1800es, no wait, that’s yours…
2002 Nissan R34 GT-R V-spec II Nür, although I don’t see myself paying that much for a 22-23 year old vehicle that I’m not sure I’d drive.
Great podcast guys! Top notch information! 💯💪🏼
ОтветитьHey guys, i recently purchased a Shinemate DA. In the manual, it mentions to use speed 5 and 6 with a soft pad for "a high gloss finish". I dont think ive ever gone past 3 or 4 on my DA's. I emailed shinemate about this but never got a response. Whats your thoughts on this? Thx for another great video
ОтветитьWhat did we ever do without Google lol…great information as always!!
ОтветитьDIY, great show with lots of nuggets, enjoyed watching and learning, thanks.
ОтветитьCan you do boats gel coat with your rotary
ОтветитьI have been not using a foam cannon .using rinse less wash then soap in a wash bucket washing it that way.
ОтветитьWhen will your 15mm da corded be out ?
ОтветитьThank you guys, for sharing your knowledge. I have learned alot .
My question is, I applied interior ceramic, but i left it kinda glossy and am not happy with how it looks. How can I remove it. To Do it again?
I pay attention when watching your detailed videos. Ivan, you know what you are talking about when you get into it. I find it very refreshing when somebody knows what they're talking about. I can relate to your statement about automobile procedures because I've worked as a skilled tradesman at an assembly plant. But I need to become an expert in detailing and want to learn. Thank you, Ivan
ОтветитьWill you be at SEMA 2024 showing off all the NEW products that have been released yet?
ОтветитьLove your podcasts guys, both of you are rocking & rolling, this is my favourite channel by far! The one thing that you guys do so well is to make this so entertaining for the viewer always keeping them engaged throughout the duration of the podcast and making it so much fun!
ОтветитьTo answer Yvan's question, for now it's a 2019 Corvette ZR1 prefer a deep royal blue metallic paint, chrome or polished wheels, Black interior with deep blue stitching, and engine built to my preference. I just prefer the 6.2l v8 over the current, and at least for me there is something about that body style I love. Oh, and great information by the way 😁
ОтветитьHello, when is water spot removal coming in?
ОтветитьI’m addicted to your channel. May I recommend a video idea. “Polishing with a 50 dollar Amazon polisher”. I know you’ve done a one with a sander but this is something a little different t. Most people don’t and can’t purchase the expensive ones. Just a thought…love the content.
ОтветитьYou both are great! I really appreciate all you do for us.
ОтветитьWhen will the 25 mm da and your rotary be available to order from Car Care Co for NZ? Thanks
ОтветитьI learned lot in the one! Ty have a good weekend
Ответитьwould you reccomend some dilution of ipa for interior glass? Im using roughly 12.5%
Ответитьhow can i know if i ended up polishing to the point where i have no more clear coat or do i need a paint measure
Ответитьcheap da is no good, with it stalling especially. But Id assume cheap rotary is fine because it just needs to spin, plus the jeweling pad doesnt have much friction either. Its just expencive da makes sense, and rotary 3 times the price of a cheap one doesnt. What do you think of that?
ОтветитьGreat podcast. Listened while cleaning a set of black rhino rims. Greetings from the Netherlands.
ОтветитьThese guys are incredible. Great educational content and products
ОтветитьIf panel prep is a great glass cleaner, is there any advantage to having a separate glass cleaner at all or could one just rely on rinseless / panel prep?
ОтветитьBilt Hamber trace- less is amazing for glass!
ОтветитьHere's one: dawn dish soap and water for windows (not too much) and a squeegee.
ОтветитьI got my start at area 51 detailing the blackbird s71. Took me 2 hours and that was adding a ceramic coating back in early 80s.
Lmao
No i knew a guy that bought a new harley in 2004 or 05 and the mat paint on his tank wasnt clear coated if i remeber right. He strugled to keep it nice looking
ОтветитьGood morning Yvan, Do you have some advice on picking out a name for your detailing business?
ОтветитьManual choke!!! I am 72 and when I was a kid my father had a car with a manual choke. It was an art to start that car!
ОтветитьBeautiful colour on the Jeep Yvan.
ОтветитьDo appreciate Yvan's honesty about the products and their use and the realistic approach to detailing. Something I have been trying to tell people for years but people keep pushing for the perfect finish thinking the nano coating your putting on top will take the place of your OEM clear coat. Your OEM clear is your best defense folks. Preserve it. Once thing that really helps as well is Good Lighting. You really need good lighting when your working on a car and you also need a clean environment. Not ideal for mobile detailers, but for the DIY'ers out there you need a clean, lit environment. Take your time. Have realistic expectations. Your enhancing, not really correcting. Keep it simple. Use what works for you.
ОтветитьI love these videos, it’s a mix of stuff you’ve already touched on as a recap and some new stuff as well. Your content is great!
