Talented guy and I enjoy seeing talented people succeed, but... The thing I hate most is a hypocrite and this dude is a massive one. Glad all parties eventually were compensated and that he is back on his feet.

Jim Lee came and changed the drawing style of comics. I remember seeing the change and it was amazing.

Todd McFarlane has never been a good artist. Good business man yes, but the guy to this day does not know correct anatomy or perspective. There is a reason his artwork has so much random chicken scratch detail without rhyme or reason. It's there to distract the average person from realizing how bad his grasp of human anatomy and technical skill is.

uhhh McFarlane went backwards on articulation of toys... he had LESS articulation that his competitors. Still does. Also he wasn't the first to chase adult properties for toys. Kenner did Aliens, Terminator, and more. But congrats on the vanity piece.

Image Comics was a house full of rock stars in the industry and took off like a rocket, but these rock stars weren't disciplined and failed to release their comics on time and readers eventually lost interest. I was one of them. Marvel and DC were mostly on schedule and eventually the readers went back to them. It was a good time to be a comic fan though because Image raised the bar and for the first time in a long time, Marvel and DC had to step their game up. The industry was forever changed for the better.

Mcfarlene has got to be one of the most influential artist on why I took up inking and comics in general. He's up there for me in the like of Yusuke Murata and Kim Jung Ji.

When his stuff goes up in price he will have the last laugh.

Great video. Todd absolutely changed the game in the 90's. His revolutionary designs are still imitated today. He's responsible the anti-heroes rise to popularity. I'm glad he and Wanda are doing well again.
