Tyson is awesome. He's an easy guy to root for.

I first saw Bagent in a preseason game against the Colts a couple of years ago and loved how he moved the team so well. I’ve liked him ever since. I hope he gets a chance to play somewhere. He definitely can play in this league.

He won 50% of his games with a poor offensive line. That is better than Justin Fields did with same O line.

If Tyson Bagent had started every game of his rookie season, then the Bears would have finished above .500. That is my opinion that I'm more than happy to give. lol!!

Tyson will be a hot commodity when his rookie deal ends and I can see high priced trade offers being made for his services. People who claim to be Bears fans like to forget that Bagent holds the NCAA record for passing TD's with 159 across all divisions and DII records of most career completions, (1,400). Most career passing yards, (17,034). Most TD passes in a season, (53). Most games with 300+ yards in a season, (11) and career, (32).
I do not care that it was for small Shepard University in West Virginia. It is the facts that will earn Ryan Poles a very high draft pick if he decides to part ways with him with the new young UDFA Reed playing well enough in what preseason time he might be allowed.
If Tyson can play behind a truly competent offensive line then I see no reason why he couldn't fill in perfectly should the unfortunate injury of Caleb Williams happen. I want to see him get some trash time with actual plays being called to rub it in. lol!!

Tyson could have been the starter after Justin left and the Bears could have allocated all that money to him and elsewhere on the team. He is no doubt the best “backup” QB and as much as I want him to stay in Chicago, I’d love to see him be a starter on another team and absolutely dominate.

I am beyond impressed with Tyson's on camera persona. He not only looks relaxed, but discusses topics and is able to give pro and cons of both sides. On a side note, I would hate to see Tyson leave, but have a feeling he will be offered a decent contract with a potential starting opportunity.

I love Caleb so don't take this the wrong way but I would love this young man to get 4-5 games this year as I believe he would do great running the offense. Then he could get a shot on another team to start and we could get some draft capital.

I’m looking forward to seeing his advancement in preseason with this offense. I think he’s somebody we can potentially trade and get some draft picks for if we can make them look good enough.

Love Bagent as our backup. I believe he is good enough to start. Raiders need him. But hope he stays.

I don’t want Caleb to get hurt, but I’ve always thought I would love to see Tyson with his team. Gunslinger with this receiving core his quick decision from here decision-making. It would be fun to watch.

Always liked Bagent…he definitely deserves some gametime. But would hate to see him leave.

I promise you he will be a starter at some point! It would not surprise me that he will be the biggest story of the year when he gets his break.

I’m glad the players are being paid - otherwise the university keeps everything for all the athlete does.

So tired of hearing “the bears always win the offseason” - no they don’t. They never won the offseason season before Poles got there. And it takes more than one good off season to go from REALLY bad to a playoff team. Why no one challenges that nonsense and just keeps repeating it I don’t get. The Bears have won the offseason season since Poles has been here - and he inherited something that was really bad…What was he supposed to do - fix everything in one off season?

Let’s be honest if you have to have a backup on the team, it’s hard to not love Bagent.
