The law in New Zealand says that nudity in the nature is totally légal, not only on beaches, but also for hiking. So, there is only beaches where naturists usually go, but you can go nude anywhere.

Are you planning on doing the same for all the other nude beaches that you visited on New Zealand's north island and the ones you visited in Australia?

I havn't watched this video I just clicked on it to say that I was SAd by my parked car at the top of ladies bay Auckland. Broad daylight, in public, by a total stranger after I sparked a brief regular "nice day today isnt it" conversation with him as he walked past. This encounter seemingly has nothing to do with actually being un clothed, and I do not have an issue with unclothing places, however I think the location and the fact I was in my togs (with towel around by bottom half) played a role in the way this man thought he could do whatever he liked in that moment. Ladies bay is a beautiful beach ruined by a few yuck patrons, it is not very safe in summer especially. For those of you wondering this man lunged forward and touched my body below my waist I yelled hey hey and stepped back and he walked off swiftly leaving me absolutely stunned. A disgusting pot belly middle aged white guy who I was absolutely NOT interested in and even if I was that behaviour is still SA. Be careful here. Yes I have been to the police. I was diagnosed with PTSD and have been through many many many hours of counselling.

A couple of years ago there was a news item from Papamoa Beach. Local residents were concerned at the behaviour of peeping toms in the sand dunes. They are nicknamed meercats. I thought that was hilarious and it's soooo on point.

Careful though, you just end up being naked with a bunch of pervy horny creepy dudes

No mention at all of the dangers of swimming on West Coast beaches beside the reference to Eddie Vedder and he was surfing lol
Swimming on West Coast outside of patrolled areas is fraught with danger many have drowned so BEWARE !!
