Excellent concert!! I've watched this several times. I saw them at First Avenue in Minneapolis the same year. Love them soooo much.

MMW are the only band in (er co-opted by) the jam band scene who can improvise, and it never, ever sounds like they’re aimlessly noodling on a guitar or a vacuum cleaner for 10+ minutes that goes nowhere. Where they end up & the path they take to get there are thrilling, mind-bending, unexpected, and jaw-dropping. It never fails. Some shows are especially transcendent, but I have never heard them have an “off night”. Every show I’ve been to, I’m completely zoned-in & hyper-focused, never once distracted.
