Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - Godzilla awakening in the desert scene (S1E6)

The MonsterVerse has some of the thickest plot armor and I'm here for it, lol.

Poor Godzilla even took care to stand up in such a way that he didn't endanger the humans on the ground, and the chopper still found a way to crash into him.

Honestly that roar might have just been to let everything else between him and the ocean know to get out of the way.

That's a lot of dust. Imagine if Godzilla suddenly went "achoo!" and a tornado AND an 8.4 richter scale earthquake were created because of it

I thought Monsterverse had established people couldn’t get too close to him because of the radiation he gave off?

He saw me... Wtf here we see a woman making everything about herself. He saw all of them, it's a giant lizard for God's sake

Why couldn’t the CGI and special effects be like this for the new GxK movie? Dont get me wrong, I loved the movies stupid fun monster fights but I feel like this sort of realism would give Godzilla and Kong a better aura. You can actually FEEL how big he is here. PAUSE, NO DIDDY. In the new movies, you tend to forget how big they are because of how crazy fast their movements are. Yall agree or nah?

Godzilla: “Unh... this reminds me, I should rest in my own palace.”

What I think is so fucking funny about this scene is how all of the characters that were running downhill, all got tossed violently and wildly about. They all got knocked off their feet, managed to toss a jeep that was also violently tossed down the hill and then they all magically rose to their feet.

But that's not the funniest part. THE FUNNIEST PART is that other than getting a little bit dirty and dusty from this incredibly looking and dangerous event... not a FUCKING ONE of them even got a scratch on them. They were all dusty and dirty, yes. But there wasn't a single injury or scratch at all. No bruises, no broken bones... no cuts, no abrasions, no lacerations... nothing. Just a little bit of dust and dirt.

How the FUCK did they manage that...? You'd think with that kind of violent event, that at least ONE of them would have cuts and contusions and maybe a broken nose or broken arm or leg... But not a single one of them were injured... HUH...

Why are the humans even out there on foot next to him? Seems pointless

what I love about this show is it b recaptures the wonder and awe and mysticalness we’ve lost in the movies.. hopefully they keep it up
