My first play through, I was playing Hungary and wanted to get Austria-Hungary back. I kinda forgot that Germany does not appreciate losing German lands and I was eventually betrayed by both Italy and Germany and had to ally myself with Poland.

When I started hoi4 I capped Ethiopia in 1941

Poland doesnt have that many units pushing west. With a good army of about 20 divisions you could probably turn that around, dont know about the encircled army though

My first game i beat Poland but i just tried going through the french fortifications and half my army was killed and was beaten by Britain and France

I once made bunch of M tank division with no infantry in HOI3, and wondering why 15 of it cant beat one mot infantry division... And of course i stack all of them in one province

In My first game I played as the soviet union and I immidieatly started justfying wargoals against poland and the baltics and then declared war on estonia and forgot to send troops to the front before doing so and I didn't even know how to do so so I got steamrolled by estonian and british forcesand on my second playthrough I learnt how to organize some armies and I was getting ready for the war with germany just to find japan conqeuring half of siberia

They made Germany very very hard to play now

My first time playing hoi4 I was able to take Danzig and hold the fierce polish army (they took konigsburg) and then the French invaded because I put like 6 divs there and expected that to hold the whole French army

My first hoi4 playthrough, I didn't know what focus trees were, so I manually justified on austria in 1940 and got ganked by the allies

une fois j'avais joué avec le Luxembourg.
j'ai fait en sorte de jouer communiste.
mais comme vous devez le savoir, le Luxembourg, en terme d'armée ce n'est rien.
résultat, après trois semaines de combat (ce qui est un exploit) j'ai perdu contre l'Allemagne qui a foncé en mode Panzer sur mon pays.
le comble dans tout ça c'est j'ai tout fait pour rester neutre, mais mon gouvernement lui a fermement insisté pour que je rejoigne la guerre contre les nazis. XD
