Pardon me for saying this, but he was a designer for Mulliner and he made the roof look like that? 😁
The body design is so good though, especially in the context of 1961. In many ways it looks as good as a Triumph Spitfire from 10 years later. Almost looks like Michelotti copied THIS! Thanks for the history!

When I was building my Vitesse, i briefly considered building it into a Falcon Caribbean body, but decided against it, because it appeared too small to fit the six cylinder inside the shell

Cool car !! Looks like the windscreen should be in the rear and the rear window should be in front.
I owned one of the very few Fairthorpe Electron Climax cars. Mine was left hand drive purchased
from an American Army officer who bought it in England and brought it back to the US.
I wish I have never sold that car.

Reminds me a little of the Peerless GT (one of which I was lucky enough to see in my local shopping mall's car park a few years ago). Bit smaller and more sporty-looking perhaps.
