Great video as always. Additionally you should enable data scrubbing, if your system is running btrfs and >2 disk RAID.

Does the remote wipe also delete all data on the device or just the synology drive data?

Interesting about the Log Center to be used as a Syslog server.
Like yours, I pointed my UniFi Controller to redirect the logs to my NAS and created a profile for my UniFi equipment but don't think it is working. How often would my UniFi devices send data to the server?
My NAS is on a different VLAN to my UniFi equipment, but the firewall rulesets on my Edgerouter4 I have for those VLANs are set to Accept as the default action.

Thanks Frank. I'd like to see a video on the login portal options, like domain and alias. Along with local DNS settings if needed. Thx!

Hello, thank you for the video. One question: what is the best and most secure way to configure a synology drive for external access? Quick connect, open port, etc.

I had problem about my synology nas
And Steve Baker
Technical Support Engineer write me about my problem that

We are sorry to hear that your DS218 has to be reset. This is likely caused by an issue in the DSM operating-system.

We understand that you are worried about losing your data. Please rest assured, your data should not be affected by the reset as the OS and data are stored in separate partitions on the drives. When re-installing the OS, the system should normally not touch the data-partitions of your drives.
I beleived and i did what he said now all my data erased omg i shocked after sir Steve Baker dissepeared i am alone there is nothing in my hands
Synology is regret bad nas choose qnap there isnt good support for problemss !!!
There is no good service and support becarefullll!!!
