Hi Eric!
I had to smile watching this because I was one of the first to get on your website JWStruggle.com. My user name was Camelot and you can see my post in the "please introduce yourself" section under the title "Greetings" dated May 20th 2011. Your site was the first to help me with the knowledge that I was not alone. I would tell everyone that this IS the PLACE you will get support and healing. It has been almost 3 years for me this coming May. I am way better now than I was when I first left. Healing takes time and it will happen. I am happy to say that I am a christian who loves Christ and the Word of God. My life is not perfect but it is a happy life.  :)

Am I the only one that hasn't had a better life after leaving the organization? It seems everybody that has left the organization has had a better life after, except me LOL

the only to fear and to glorify is Jehovah because he is the one who have life at the beginning. I also told my ex Jehovah Witness instructor just because the Governing Body is telling to go condemn people who have different views those not make it right and that kind of behavior and attitude will only get people turn off and just close the door in their face.

How can you help me

I know these are old videos and no one will probably ever read this. When I was little everyone on my mom's side of the family was a witness, My father was not. My parents were divorced and I was made to go to the Kingdom Hall with my grandparents when I was with my father. I remember my grandparents telling me as a child that if I did not get my father to start coming to the Kingdom Halls and become a witness that I would have to watch him be destroyed in Armageddon; (this was in early 80s... I mention the date because I know things change). I remember crying and begging my father to go telling him I didn't want to lose him. I look back at that now and my mind is completely blown that somebody would say that to a child and put that responsibility and fear on them. Mind you I was roughly 8 years old.
