Hi everyone, In this video, I will show how to install Google Chrome using GPO. I have downloaded the MSI from the website
Deploying Google Chrome using Group Policy involves a series of steps. Here is a basic guide to help you with the deployment:
Prerequisites:
Download the Google Chrome MSI Installer:
Obtain the MSI installer for Google Chrome from the official Google Chrome Enterprise page: Download Google Chrome Enterprise
Deployment Steps:
Create a Shared Folder:
Create a shared folder on a network location accessible to all the computers where you want to deploy Google Chrome.
Copy the Google Chrome MSI Installer:

Copy the Google Chrome MSI installer to the shared folder.
Open Group Policy Management Console |GPMC|:

On a computer with the Group Policy Management Console installed, open the GPMC by running gpmc.msc in the Run dialog.
Create a New Group Policy Object |GPO|:

Right-click on the domain or organizational unit |OU| where you want to apply the Group Policy, then select "Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here."
Give the GPO a descriptive name.
Edit the GPO:

Right-click on the newly created GPO and select "Edit."
Navigate to Software Installation:

Go to Computer Configuration -Policies - Software Settings - Software Installation.
Create a New Software Installation Package:

Right-click on Software Installation and choose New - Package.
Browse to the shared folder where you copied the Google Chrome MSI installer, select it, and click Open.
Configure Deployment:

In the deployment method, choose "Assigned" to force the installation.
Click OK to close the dialog.
Force Group Policy Update:

You can wait for the Group Policy to update on its own or force it by running the following command in the Command Prompt on a target machine: gpupdate /force.
Verify Installation:

Check a target machine to verify that Google Chrome has been installed. You can also review the Event Viewer for any errors related to Group Policy.
Additional Considerations:
Silent Installation:

If you want to deploy Google Chrome silently (without user interaction), you can use the /q or /quiet flag when installing the MSI. Ensure that your GPO deployment is set to "Assigned" for silent installations.
Update Policy Settings:

Regularly review and update your Group Policy settings to accommodate any changes in your organization's requirements.
