Yes this was Metallica's first album Kill Em All released in 1983. Right before they went into the studio they fired Dave Mustaine and hired Kirk Hammett from the band Exodus. Dave Mustaine wrote 80 percent of the music on Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning. The Four Horsemen was actually the song Mechanix but James and Lars didn't like the lyrics so they slowed the music down and changed the lyrics. Megadeth on their first album Killing is my business and business is Good released the actual song Mechanix. Dave Also still gets royalties from Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning for his writing credits. When Metallica was put into the rock n roll Hall of Fame they wanted Dave there but since he didn't play on an album the Hall of Fame said no. Metallica is one of the Big 4 in thrash metal but they definitely aren't the best. Megadeth writes better music, Kiko is a better lead guitarist then Kirk. In my opinion Anthrax is better than Metallica. I like Metallica but they're #3 in the Big 4 in my opinion. Then again my favorite metal band is Pantera so what do I know 😂

This is my favorite Metallica song. Not even sure why because there ARE better songs, but this one just hits me just right and always has.

Okay so picture this I forget what year it was I was like 17 and I took the drive from San Diego up to LA to see the Van Halen monsters of Rock at the LA coliseum The second band to come on was Metallica when they played seek and destroy hundreds and hundreds of people rushed the stage. The front rows on the field were folding chairs and the people were beating the chairs on the stage and the DJ from KNAC came out and said if you guys don't calm down Metallica's over

this is the tune that turned me on to metallica.. Some of my best memories are skating in my local school parking lot with the ghetto blaster cranking the 'Kill 'em all " album ..

ONE OF MY FAVORITE METALLICA SONGS!!!! They would play this at Texas Tech games the year that Mike Leach took over whenever our defense would take the field. I make HS Football team highlight reels for them to watch to get pumped up for the game. THIS IS AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR!!!!!

Reminds me of those crappy final days of WCW (The Wrestler Sting used this as entrance theme). Generally Metallica is not my thing, just not my perception of what good music is. But nothing wrong with it, to each their own.
