Skeet is for people who cant shoot sporting and DTL if for people that just cant shoot!

DTL is easy, a 24 or 25 is easily achievable for most competent shooters. I went to Bywell 2 weeks ago and normally shoot sporting but had a go on DTL with a sporter, 23 first barrels, 2 second, not that hard

Down under, we shoot one per lane and we change lanes after each shot until we shoot 25T.

Wonder why "Leaving the Olympic disciplines out?" Is it because they much harder to shoot??. . .

I live in France and shot dtl here on the circuit. That's the pompous way of saying the summer calendar of local shoots organised by the local hunting club in each location. Each week is in a different place with different conditions such as gradient of field, proximity of trees, speed of trap, angles etc. We shoot ten clays and move along after each shot. I love it as it is more realistic and about speed and accuracy and obviously not so much about prep for shooting birds. I like to aim at a target such as in dtl and not into thin air. It's a test every week and very popular here in the Ball Trap season between March and end of August or so.

Scoring is 3 pts 1st barrel 2 pts 2nd barrel and zero for a miss. Anyone saying DTL is easy, come and shoot a perfect 100/300

As someone who talks to themselves when trying to concentrate I've annoyed my fair share of people while playing trap. But it is good fun to shoot.
