In terms of amount of USB 3.2 ports, there's a little lack of it. Nowadays I use 1 usb port for mouse, 1 for the keyboard, 1 for the headphones. :/

Also, I have heard some people say that their legions are shutting randomly. Is that a serious issue ?

Hi, there is a store in my country that are selling two lenovos legion slim 5 (2024) one has rzyen 7 7735hs, 16gb, 4070 laptop, 1600p 165hz, and the other has the ryzen 8845hs, 16gb, 4060 laptop, 1600p 165hz, I am interested for very heavy multi window heavy work, listening to music, videos, demanding video games, which one do you recommend, which one is much better, is there much difference, do you think the one with the 4070 laptop I should buy?, Do you recommend it for playing video games? They say that the legion slim is very flat and gets very hot because of the ventilation, is it true? I really like the legion slim.
In general, which one is better? I need it for everything, mostly heavy duty and AAA gaming.

My lenovo legion 5 died after a year and a half. I used to be a big lenovo fan but not now. Unacceptable. Surfed the net and I find I am not alone. Look up issues for lenovo buyers beware.

Thanks Jarrod, I went in for the gen 9 slim with the 8845hs so just doing some research on the side to what difference that might make to your vid but imagine rather similar (also +£175 for the 4070 model, not bad)

Hi Jarrod! I bought this from Best Buy last Black Friday because of you and your website. I have a question though. I want to extend to a second monitor and I was able to order an Innocn 27g1r Plus which is a 1440p 180hz fast IPS monitor supposedly... I completely forgot that if I want to make the most out of external monitors, I would need a dp port. Would the usb type c to dp 1.4 cable be able to make use of the features of the monitor? Are there drawbacks? Are there suggested workarounds? Thank you very much in advance.
