Aw, no räksmörgås (shrimp sandwich)? 😁
It's more common in western Sweden, but you get a piece of bread with a salad leaf, mayonaise, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, lemon and a bunch of shrimp. The best is when you get a mountain of shrimps. 😁

Ответить👋Hi Mark,
A long term follower & subscriber here & I always enjoy your global foodie adventures.
My family & I will be heading to Sweden/Stockholm this coming Winter & we'll be there for quite a while & because it'll be my 1st time there, this video's given me a better insight into Swedish culture/life/food.
I'm sure we'll have to stock up on the carbs during our time there, as it'll be so cold out. Not to mention, the days will be much shorter too. Darkness can set in around 3pm during the middle of Winter.
Where I live, we also have some excellent & fresh seafood, but the seafood in Stockholm looks amazing too & I cannot wait to try out many local dishes.
It'll also be nice to enjoy their Fika tradition. We do this in our neck of the woods too, but to do it in Sweden will be enjoyable.
We here enjoy seeing you try different dishes & it's even better to see your reactions when you eat. You've always got a nice smile on your face & you're always cheerful, which is very refreshing to witness.
Thanks for sharing your journey's with we viewers. I personally, thoroughly appreciate what you do.
Cheers & Peace🙏
I´ts all about love!
ОтветитьI LOVE SWEDISH FOOD, thanks so much for the info 🤩
ОтветитьIf you ever find yourself in Stockholm again, you need to eat at Pizza Hörnan in Bergshamra. You jump on the red line metro and get off at Bergshamra, from there you can ask almost anyone and they will point the way for you. 👌
ОтветитьWhat an honour to have him.
ОтветитьSweden looks beautiful.
And that salmon…. Has to be my favourite food ever. Absolutely drooling!
I have been to Stockholm last week and the seafood was amazing! Surely recommend a visit to Östermalms saluhall!
ОтветитьWhy the hell would you coat that delicious salmon with pepper?
ОтветитьFresh water falling like this ????
I really hope it’s getting recycled (the one that’s falling away…
In my city we only get 45mins of fresh water per day.
Can anyone tell why and how this is allowed to happen ?
This reminds me: I remember decades ago there was a restaurant where I live, Los Angeles, Ca, called Scandia. They had a salmon dish called gravlaks. It’s salmon cured (but not smoked) in a liqueur called Aquavit. It was served with a creamy mustardy dill sauce. It was so delicious! Watching Mark’s video makes me feel I could eat nothing but Swedish food for the rest of my life!

ОтветитьI’m proud of being a Swede rn it’s so cool that people think our food is good it’s just an everyday thing for me in Swedish words tack så jättemycket
ОтветитьIf you like raw fish... And, I wish I could say I liked the bland meatballs at IKEA, but bleccchhh
ОтветитьAs long as it ain't no pork involved..I WILL TRY IT.
ОтветитьAnything that has LOTS OF SHRIMP involved, IS A EVERYDAY thing with me, EVEN Though I "ONLY BUY SHRIMP ,7 TO 8 DAYS every month.
ОтветитьIt's a trip that a standard BREAKFAST is so diverse world wide. I was in France one time, and went to breakfast l, After I completed my order to the waitress, her immediate response was...WHAT KIND OF WINE would you like to go with it? And IM LIKE A"it's 9:30 in the morning"."
ОтветитьYour enthusiasm for food is infectious. It makes we want to go and try new every day. Thank you.
ОтветитьThose strawberries omg
