The story is not perfect but retrospectively, i think it has becine a classic

Despite this was my first Yakuza game, it made me fall in love with it. I wish it lasted forever. It has become one of my top 3 games. The characters and the story caught my attention so much. I hope they make a new game about the main characters' lives today. Or maybe they create different characters that can have a similar effect and tell new stories with them. It doesn’t have to be about Yakuza. Playing in the open world with the people of Japan, in the atmosphere of Japan is a wonderful experience.

One of my favorite parts is when you go to kill the final boss and Nishiki gives you a spiel about how you can never come back from killing someone even though Kiryu shot like 50 people including a helicopter like two chapters before lmao

my high expectation ruined this game experience for me

Now the story on its own has a lot to enjoy but if you’re going into yakuza 0 after playing other entries in the series it feels like a much more complete package
