Not sure how many would have got your, Frank Carson “ It’s a cracker “ inflection
I did 😂
Hi Gary, I don’t think whilst you were here in Manchester the Christmas Markets was open yet, it looks like they were still setting up but you should definitely try the food at our Christmas markets which has been open for the last few days!
ОтветитьAnother great review Gary. You are the food reviewer to trust from start to finish the content is packed with honest information. Your fair approach is to be admired. Thanks for taking us along all the best Pete 👍
ОтветитьAnother great review Gary. The food looked amazing. Great choices. Might give it a go. Well done you too.
ОтветитьAlways the greatest reviews on u tube always look forward to them keep up the great work ❤❤❤
ОтветитьAnd Bowie in the background....
ОтветитьI’d love to see you visit Chicago someday. We have some outstanding restaurants.
.
I have to say for a restaurant is just part of a Michelin guide no Michelin stars fast food presentation is top class I like the presentation of each dish it it doesn't look overpowering crystal bread with a blue cheese didn't look overdone the calamari had looked well done and like the side sources and lips you got they look well prepared restaurants interior bar kitchen that's pretty cool seeing the chefs being at work fantastic chandeliers that I've got bloody cool and I saw that the white is really take it serious to help you quickly you don't have to call them four times the instantly there when you need them I like that I'll give you 8 1/2 out of 10
ОтветитьAww garry I'm so gutted you came to Manchester and didn't try the desi lounge in Failsworth.. I am the only recommendation for it and would realy like to know where my taste buds truly lie 😢
Ответить🤓👍
Ответить"It's a cracker" done me 😅
ОтветитьOh Gary. Spanish croquettes should have bechamel sauce and not potatoes😢
ОтветитьHola Gary, muchas gracias por el video. The food looked terrific and 3 plates for £20 is a bargain - especially for a Michelin star restaurant. I love a tapas - can just choose lots of different things.
ОтветитьWow. Some lovely food here Gary, looks great and looks like there's some good flavours too. Never tried calamari so no idea what it's like, great as always Gary.
ОтветитьOh Gary, is that really a Tapas? I only ask as from my own experience from the 80's is smaller portions but more variety. I remember being sat at a glass counter in a small restaurant that also acted as the local post office, and bank with my dad, we chose what we wanted from under the glass counter, it was served to us either cold or if hot in sizzling terracotta bowls, half the size you had, along with ice frosted glasses of beer, which was free with the meal, I do remember having 12 different bowls of food, and that was just for me, a bit like a taster menu I suppose.
ОтветитьI been here it was great, I also been to their sister restaurant Canto also in Manchester, and that was fantastic too.
ОтветитьHi Gary I like watching your reviews 😊 Cheers
ОтветитьAnother great review, good job Gary.
ОтветитьGrylls coventry Road
ОтветитьI stumbled upon your videos, and I don’t know what it is but you are so likable. I instantly hit the subscribe button and have been binge watching even though I’m not from 🇬🇧 😂. Please keep making amazing videos, and I wish you all the success in the world❤ sending much love from Chicago.
ОтветитьGary I wasn't in a great mood till I watched your video ...the start walk over two seconds later walks away ..closed 😅😅😅😅brilliant stuff as usual without trying missed the run😉😉
ОтветитьLooked yummo Gazza. Stay safe on your travels btw. Tracey xx 🇦🇺❤️😘🥂👍😎😍
ОтветитьThat tapas restaurant seemed like a brilliant place and a good value for money! Manchester has really changed for the better since my college days in the 90s!! It was quite dreary back then, and the best and most affordable restaurants were the curry houses in Rushholme, where all the students went out to eat.
ОтветитьContinued - it would be great if you could review and possibly it would shake them up to improve their food quality and service when complaining
ОтветитьGary , think you need to go to BrewDog ( city of London ) and try just about anything on their menu as it’s mainly terrible
ОтветитьLove everything you do you are sweet
ОтветитьPutting more and more timber on, lad!😮
ОтветитьReally enjoying this new Alan Partridge show
ОтветитьWow the food looked fantastic and the presentation looks amazing for sure glad you enjoyed
ОтветитьAs soon as i saw those white triangles, i thought it was a bit of stilton been squashed by a steam roller
ОтветитьBlimey, you've visited a restaurant I've actually been to, Gary! I had a fabulous meal there this summer, and the staff were top notch. Had no idea it was in the Michelin Guide, but fully deserves it, in my opinion. Great review, as always. Thank you.
ОтветитьOoh great! A restaurant near me! Will give it a go and ween myself off Dishoom.
ОтветитьBetter than most 'celebrity' restaurants. Awesome 👍
ОтветитьGary, I can't get enough of your videos, brilliant reviews. I just had an idea but maybe you've done it already. why not put a book together, your own guide to uk food with all your favourite or at least the places you would recommend us too go. its so hard tracking all your videos but if we had a book, id def buy!!
ОтветитьA very tasty review Gary and you cracked me up with your out the blue Frank Carson "It's a cracker" impression i think "It's the way you tell em" 😂 Just one thing i and i think maybe other watchers would love to see your bloopers/outtakes sometime i bet they would be "In the best possible taste" 😉
ОтветитьMy home city, but sisnab and I are on Tenerife on holiday watching this. 2 days ago we sampled a wonderful bbq restaurant (sisnab knows the official name for these but I don’t) up in the hills with aged dry beef, steaks sold by the kg,. I wouldn’t advise their artichoke with shaved foie lol. In general there’s a wide variety of prices depending where you eat. Today we visited a fish restaurant on the south coast, los abrigos restaurant, for 35 euros we were served a huge platter of sweet prawns, octopus, mussels, clams, baby octopus, boiled potatoes, salad. The staff were wonderful. Fish were on view in a glass topped fridge.tapas restaurants everywhere. We’re so lucky to be here
ОтветитьWhy do they always do tapas in 3’s? Not really a share plate unless there’s 3 of you. 🤔 I go with my missus and we end up flipping coins for the extra piece of tapas or we go into negotiations like ‘you have that and I’ll have that’s… but if you have that, then I get that!… actually that is good fun 😂
ОтветитьAll looks stunning gary apart from the "ships biscuit."😅
ОтветитьYou can't go wrong with tapas! 😉
ОтветитьEveryone raves about Serrano ham but, I'm not a fan and think it's so overrated 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI love Tapas and my fav restaurant here in York is Ambiente
ОтветитьMy three words for venues would be fantastic
ОтветитьiViva España!! Good day Gary. Love the interior of this restaurant. Raw brickwork & the lighting setup over the counter area. That type of seating always reminds me of the black & white films from the 🇺🇲USA the everyman diner 🍽️😊To be honest, not a lover of Tapas. Old - Fashioned view, that it's using up leftovers. However, the array of dishes you chose to dine on looked. Supurb colours, textures & fair portion sizes. We could see the way it filled up very quickly after opening time. A good sign. In London they, Tapas Bars seem quite popular these days. Must take the wife soon. Brilliant video as per Allan&Family
ОтветитьI would be interested to know if you were there early or if they were just late in opening. It drives me mad when I travel a long way for food and the place opens half an hour after the stated time.
ОтветитьOh no! For the first time, I have to disagree with a review from Gary!
I have eaten here twice - the first time when it was new about 10 years ago and a year ago on a brief visit to Britain.
When we first visited, we raved about it and said “This is just like eating at home!” This time, I let my old school friends order using the lunch time offer and cannot to this day tell you what we had. Everything was ok by British standards but not exceptional at all.
I can’t knock what you ate just from the recording but even I can cook calamare without it being chewy Gary. Not a very high bar. Patatas Bravas is not served much here but the sauce should be spicy - yours looked the same as the meatball sauce?
I will leave it there but maybe the addition of Tapas to the name indicates a change of ownership to me. By the way, when it opened the roof of the upstairs bar opened and we enjoyed an exceptional range of Sherries that matched bars here in Jerez where it is made. They have NONE now. ☹️
Hi Gary! I need to catch up! Been Soo busy ay will try finish this one and I know U posted another one💓🤩🥰🙏🙏🏾 busy busy time this week!!!
ОтветитьSorry to disagree with you Gary, but potatoes are definitely not boring!
ОтветитьFantastic review Gary👍
