Dragon Age The Veilguard Review - Utterly Ruined

Soon it will be illegal to 'not like' these games!

I cannot get the game to run, it crashes my pc. when it did work i like the graphics though a bit blurry, story is good, combat excellent, woke stuff horrible.

You guys must understand why they are doing this in video games now. Its because they are targeting children for propaganda purposes. They want them to think that this is healthy natural and normal. They want them to grow up seeing all this trans/gay stuff in everything. They are targeting future generations. Its not about us its about them.

Another game killed by the Rainbow Death Cult, they friggin ruin EVERYTHING.

i'm starting to believe that there is a "woke fund" that covers most of the loses that these gaming or movie companies suffer after such a release, it is the only explanation why it keeps on happening.

The woke crap is the reason I didn’t buy it. Dragon age inquisition had some woke crap but it’s not constant and the graphics are more realistic and the gameplay is a better rpg experience.

I do not get the direction this game has taken, if you want to make a non-offensive action based RPG then that is ok.
What i can't understand is why they have bolted this onto a game that was a "Grim Dark" setting/story, and ruin it.
Who signed off on this? Its staggering that this made it through any stage of development.

77000 peak concurrent players in the last 24 hours according to Steam, and BG3 reached over 900 000 just after it released last year. Less than 10% of BG3 figures....!

You can't bind all the keys. The map key cannot be bound to many keys such as PGUP, W, etc

Bought veilguard and drova. Played veilguard for 15mins and quit half way through the intro mission. Turned on Drova and played for 2 hours nonstop. Thank goodness for indie RPGs.

Guess I'll just replay Origins for the 10th time.

If you want a good example of how pathetic this game is, look up a video of an ogre fight from dragons dogma, which was from 2012, and then compare it to the ogre fight in veilguard in 2024.

The word woke gets thrown around a lot but this actually is woke. Its so bad it sounds satirical. When I seen a bunch of the woke stuff in this game in memes I was like oh yeah more "woke" stuff, its not THAT bad and then the videos game through and I realised it was real and not just a joke.

The strangest thing is I always tell myself I wont be surprised by more woke overreaching, but then I see one character misgender another and do 10 pushups to say sorry. You misgendered me, get down and give me 10 maggot! I know games like Dustborn will be this bad on release, but Dragon Age? MY Dragon Age? Look how they've massacred my they/them.

Having loved the Inquisition, I've been waiting for this review patiently but somehow knew it would turn out this way.

Huge wasted opportunity here to make a spectacular RPG, they had the artists, sound and even the combat could have been worked to be great but nooooo they chose to pander to the tiny percentage of people that pretty much don't give a shit about video games and release this festering pile of RPG rubbish, no one wins, we all lose. At least they are the ones loosing all the money.
