Such a brilliant method of sewing and then cutting!

I really like this quilt pattern, and I have sewn up one quilt top with it. Putting it together in blocks was pretty straightforward, but I had a devil of a time sewing the blocks together and matching corners where half-square triangles meet. Any suggestions for reducing the bulk and keeping those corners sharp?
