To get our events legs back, last week Esports Insider partnered up with London pop-up specialist Sook to bring esports to the High Street. Sponsored by brand-new esports initiative EQ: the Esports Insider Oxford Street Pop-up featured panels on the state of esports' billion dollar industry valuation, University of Warwick's £275,000 esports centre, and the industry's diversity problem.
During the day, Sook's adaptive retail space hosted the racing sim rig by Veloce Esports, a 3D Aim Trainer high-score challenge, a debut of We Are Nations' newest merch drop, and a fighting game tournament by Wanyoo Esports.
Thank you to our panelists, all the High Street shoppers who stopped by, and congratulations to the winners of our various challenges. Don't forget to check out ESI London, November 8th-9th for the ultimate esports industry experience.
