The end credits pretty much showed us what's happening. His older self is the darkness/the system while the frail version of himself is on the table is the pure/good. My opinion Jinwoo is the main villain of the series. I'm getting strong Code Geass and Death Note vibes as far as the main character letting power take over slowly forgetting his humanity

Nobody seems to talk about it but, it is crazy that Dad is stuck in a dungeon for 10 years where an hour in real time is a day inside a dungeon. So he's been inside a dungeon for 87600 days which is 240 years in dungeon. The fact that he's not dead and not going insane and still has some humanity in him is a feat in itself. Plus the continuous fighting of monster is just insane.

Can't pin point jinwoo's father's voice actor. But sounds oddly familiar.

I hate it that they cut the scene wherein Igris beheaded the demons he defeated and offered it to Jinwoo but he told him to stop doing it because Iron is copying him. And then comes Iron with Vulcan's head to offer to him and to show off with the lower rank shadows. That scene is fun and it shows that the shadow army are not just a tool he use to fight, they have their own mind and own character. They just have this unbreakable loyalty to him. And that makes the story more entertaining.

I’ve read the light novel and it was phenomenal! They’ve left out some details for pacing reasons. Some I feel they needed to keep it in.

In my opinion so far the light novel is better than the anime. I’m not a fan of leaving things out for “pacing reasons”.

Maybe the dad is from timeline they lost and world taken over and all the dimensions are taken over worlds and that’s why there are cities and then the dad is actually a monster that just looks human.
Every world or universe falls and the technology is future time travelers trying again to stop bad timeline but failed to give it to dad and now woo is solo leveling to bag baddies. 😂

Jinwoo going back in and we not seing most of his battles with the demons was a bit of let down for me. I'm curious what his final level was when he walked out. The only thing we know is he went in at level 60-ish. Because it will be good to have an idea of how his levels scale against the ranks and also whether or not he can keep leveraging the level up restores that he got lucky with during all of season 1.
