Paul writes that Mark had instructions for the Church. Also Mark seemed to be a very important person when Peter was imprisoned by Herod Agripa. Mark was about 20 years old here in 41 AD. He might have written his gospel in or about 41 AD when he was still in his 20s. Mark was rich, educated and with many resources, he could have done this feat easily. In 64 AD Peter calls him "son" meaning by this year Mark was at least 15 years younger than Peter.

Those acreditted with writing the gospels are not the ones that actually did, all the gospels found ( no originals) were UN signed, not written first hand, and not one of the writers claim in them that they knew jesus.

This guy goes to ACTS and attempts to show Mark's name is really John Mark and yet never admits out of 11000 words in the gospel of Mark - Mark is never mentioned. All apologetics. Goal for them? - make it work. Sorry I wasted 5 minutes of my time

Mark is the shortest because he wrote it first and Matt and Luke added/embellished to make it more powerful to the reader.

John was his Hebrew name. Mark was his Greek name. Same as Simon Peter.
