I got one just few months ago. Only sad I needed really quick exchange of my crashed old system SSD I picked 256GB, which was only at stock, although I looked for getting 512GB.
Currently happy even with this one, enough for Win10, apps and 2 games I play plus more than half of capacity left.
If I get new double sized nvme 3.0 SSD I would sirely picked this Sn570. Snappy and very good price.
easily one of the best bang for buck nvme ssds atm。could also recommend the KingstonA2000 though。
ОтветитьI've been using the WD green one(sata speed) for years on my laptop. My main nvme got corrupted on my desktop and I'm back using a 256gb for the time
Ответитьmy 120GB WD hdd from 2007 still works somehow with a ton of reads and writes, its definitely a storage i can recommend which will last for years and quite possibly decades too
ОтветитьThis video is a joke, pretty much straightforward advertising.I have learned nothing about this drive which isn’t printed on the box. Correction, I have learned his drive is basic as fast as a sata drive and this fact is glossed over liked that was something good.
Very disappointed.
Picked up wd sn750 black, and got the WD blue sn570 in the second slot. No more sata. Using MSI b450 pro carbon gaming wifi max.
ОтветитьMore pls
ОтветитьAcronos as a free version is a pretty good piece of software, great review / video Brian! ✨
ОтветитьThe 5 year warranty sounds good but how good are they at honouring that?..... it says 5 years "limited" and professional installation recommended on the box... so be interested to know
ОтветитьAudio cut in the end nooo
Ответитьsoooo its basically just a samsung 980 but it being a WD blue its just worse.
LMAO
LOL -- I just bought this exact nvme like a week ago. Seem to be on the same wavelink after watching your channel for a number of years. :-)
ОтветитьI love these drives. Best Buy here had the 1TB SN570's for $85 a few weeks back. Bought 4 and an ASUS Hyper M.2 PCIe 16x card. Those 4 drives get around 13GB/s read in RAID 0. I'm happy.
ОтветитьWestern Digital Geeen 1tb M.2 or the Teamgroup 1tb M.2 is a much better value for the money, but I get it, secure that sponsorship bag.
ОтветитьI personally just love the Intel 660p , and now the 670p , Their prices are just perfect ! No need to pay more for an Samsung 970, or even an Samsung 980 , for JUST GAMING !
I just bought an 2TB INTEL 670p for (just) €189,- !
Voice sound is perfection in this video
Ответитьnice drive but its still just an ad ,so thanx
ОтветитьAnother sellout tech channel that show kid toys(product placement) in videos about new PC hardware. GTFO with that! People are here for tech news, reviews and so on, not for Groomers(DIsney) AD's!

Wow, you must have recorded this ad weeks ago. You're not home, you're in Japan!
ОтветитьI'm done with internal NVMe/m.2 drives. These days a Crucial 4tb external (800-1050mb/s) drive has worked just as good as any internal drive I've installed -- and if I corrupt my internal NVMe (OS), I don't have to worry about anything. I'm just tired of messing with several internal drives, drive letters and moving or deleting data to make room for games.
...though a good sized internal m.2 is also nice :)
Does it have a ram cache or is that why write speeds slow down?
ОтветитьBruh its weird here, i just noticed looking up the HDD that a Ryzen R5 3600 non X is 15$ more than a Intels 12400F moreover the 3600 isnt even 10$ cheaper than a AMD 5600 .. OoF on performance to $
ОтветитьWho makes the flash chips? Every WD drive I've ever owned (all HDs not SSDs) failed catastrophically, I don't trust their spinning rust at all, but I don't know if their SSDs are better. Are they worth the risk? Or should I just stick with Samsung and Crucial?
Ответить5 years or Max Endurance (TBW) limit, whichever occurs first. That would be 150, 300, 600 and 900 TBW (terabytes written) for the following capacities: 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB.
Ответитьbruh it cost $115 for 1tb over here , overprice....
ОтветитьWould you be able to build an 8 core xeon pc for a tech flip video ive been contemplating getting one
ОтветитьWD Blue SN570 is a steal for its money, but I would invest into a better SSD with DRAM buffer, I like more stable performance on big files
ОтветитьM2 SSD's are the best! Over the past year, I have upgraded all our daily use systems to hardware that supports these. We currently are using Samsung, Intel and Hynix M2 drives. I have used several WD Blue SATA SSD's, they work great so I would have no problem trying an M2 drive made by them.
ОтветитьI wouldn't rely on acronis true image, having used it for nearly a decade. They push software upgrades and trim features over time. You're much better off with something like o&o diskimage
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how to fix side and bottom scroll bars appearing during games
ОтветитьI've been putting these in gaming pcs for a while now. They have not failed me yet, and they are very quick for the price.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьBeen using a 2TB SN550 for over a year now. So far so good. I like it. I can't really tell the speed difference over a regular ssd, but its still faster then a mechanical for sure.
ОтветитьI have the exact same M.2 NVMe. I have 2 one is a 500gb and one is a 1TB. And they both perform great.
ОтветитьCan't wait for them to silently swap the internals and half the performance
ОтветитьNice video review. Well done. Question: My pc has MSI PRO Z690-A and it has three free m.2 slots. It came with one SN570 (1TB), can I add another one (2TB) in free slot or does the larger 2TB have to go in first slot (under gpu)?
Ответитьwhen using nvme speed is not an issue. life span more important
Ответитьdoes it have dram cache
ОтветитьI need a Nvme SSD which does not drop its write speed after 10 GB.
ОтветитьI use the 1TB SN550 in my second PC (I use ADATA 8200pro 1TB in main) This 570 I think will be a good fit in my father's PC I am rebuilding. His needs are simple and SSD and a 2TB HD is all he needs and my 9YR nephew will love that his games will play much better. I think that the SN570 with a 10100F and 16GB ram will rock. (My dad's current pc is an AMD 860K)
Ответитьya, wd risc-v controllers run quite cool, and less flash chips, less heat too
ОтветитьSIr, i think these new tech need to be tested in Laptop because i rarely see people use PC anymore.
ОтветитьNever use Acronis its just trash. Macrium Reflect Free is the best cloning software there is, shouldn't even bother with any of these bundled cloning software they are all crap compared to Macrium and Macrium isn't vendor locked.
Ответитьcould get my hand on a 2tb version for 130 €
Ответитьsucks wd is no good this ssd at leest no drma nothing adadda xpg is so much faster way dram an it same cost so i am sanding my wd back shit dude an u are supporting this
Ответитьas sooon as u sand a 10gb file over it gos down from 3k speed to 500mbs way etf f u did not say that i dont like u any more dude way u dont help yr chat out like u did
ОтветитьIs it good for gaming?
ОтветитьThese have dropped much in price new & open box this last year. I bought some open box 1tb SN570 for around $65ea in the last 12months. Now open box they are down to $38. I have 3x 1tb and a single 2tb SN570. I was very impressed when I cloned a Adata SX8200 1tb over to the SN570 1tb and then did side by side benchmarks and the SN570 was FAR better on the results with the exact same data installed on both which was about 80-90% full. I wish they were black in color but o well. All four of these are used for game storage in family PC's. Snappy faster NVMe performance but not wasting money on faster drives that 99.9% of games don't take advantage from... yet. Still waiting for direct storage tech to get implemented into the PC gaming world.
I did place a order for a 2nd 2tb new for $120 but the SN770 was only $15 more so I changed my order. Now I have seen the SN570 for as low as $102.99 new and SN770 for $110. The SN770 is a similar sort of drive, great value and great in game load times for the price.
I have got the 500gb SN570 but Please can anyone show me the way how to claim the Acronis true image software 5 year license we arectalking here??? I dont see that anywhere how to do that, please... thanks...
Ответить2tb ssd nvme support 12 th gen laptop please tell me
