Dude all that casing hitting that truck....
Ответитьnow thats a battle rife
ОтветитьNote to self... sight in rifle before making video.
ОтветитьDid you adjust the rear elevation at all or is it bottomed out?
ОтветитьCan you order a walnut stock from factory ❓
ОтветитьSighted slightly left
ОтветитьIf the gove wants a hard hitting round and a short gun that is light why not just give in already and go with the dam ak47?
ОтветитьNot sure if you were using the 147 grain. I get much better groups when shooting the 168 grain. Don't know if the wind was from right to left but most of your just were hitting left even with your closest targets. Love the socom 16. I caught a wild hog approximately 450 lbs using the 168 grain at around 130 yards a couple of years ago. Tore the heart into pieces and dropped instantly. Really enjoyed your video!
ОтветитьHow did you change the composite for wood? I know the tanker comes in wood but w/out the rail
ОтветитьThat is my fav gun. My pops has it.
ОтветитьBut suppressed
ОтветитьWhat mounting system in the truck are you using
ОтветитьJust picked up the Tanker- which is like yours but just comes with the walnut stock- and no pic rail. where in AZ are you- well I mean looks like AZ...
ОтветитьDid you ever get those nicks in your trucks paint job yet?
ОтветитьCant wait to get one of these
ОтветитьPut a shuster gas plug, this cuts down on blowback from the omega / can!😎= stiffer hehe👐🏽
Ответитьtruck gun. yes sir.
ОтветитьThe only thing that bothers me about this gun is getting my finger caught in the blot, is this a problem for you?
ОтветитьGene-0! Watched this one again. I love how everyone is concerned about the brass hitting the King Ranch. Great Americans!
ОтветитьThe truck is painted with iron.
ОтветитьSynthetic stocks are my taste.
ОтветитьGet the NM front sight, fairly cheap replacement that helps a ton.
ОтветитьСледы от гильз на машине гарантированы
ОтветитьI heard that certain weather will warp the wood over time causing your shots to be thrown off is this true?
ОтветитьIs that the Tanker model?
ОтветитьI cringed at the brass smacking into your truck, lol. Great gear, man. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьI love my m1a tanker. I did research on this platform before I bought it and just as an FYI to anyone wondering, the military never adopted any variant of the m14 with a 16 inch barrel. The name socom was simply a marketing name from Springfield armory. The tanker model was inspired by the garand in ww2 when the army produced a prototype short barrel garand for tanker personnel. It had issues and less than 10 are still around today.
ОтветитьGreat video! Makes for a great truck gun like the truck getting "pinged" by ejected brass cartridge cases.....
ОтветитьWhere did you get the wood stock?
Ответитьany issues with getting your fingers get snagged by the action near the forward grip?
ОтветитьGreat weapon. I got one in black synth stock and wish I had the wood finish, but better to have one than to not, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this.
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between the socom and the tanker?
ОтветитьSo is it an M1a stock? Or M1 or a completely different model
ОтветитьFinally someone mentioned the pic rail getting hot. I really was waiting for that and you seem to be one of the few that did. Had a good laugh about that 😂
ОтветитьAfter 9/11???
They came out in 2004.
They didn't "redesign" the gas system. The difference is in the gas port of the barrel.
You can use a gas system from any SA M1A
2 lb difference???
There's less than a lb difference
It doesn't have the "typical" rear aperture. It's a ghost ring aperture; much bigger than the standard and/or NM
Out to a 1000 yards! This guy is priceless
Don't make things up
Just change the front sight to a standard blade or NM
ОтветитьCan i take the heat shield of my tanker and replace one with the picatinny rail?
ОтветитьI live in bear country will these handle heavy 308 rounds?
ОтветитьGot the Tanker because of the short barrel. Love it
ОтветитьThat walnut with black looks better than the stock walnut with brown. Like this!
ОтветитьI bought a tanker and standard, I’ve yet to shoot them, seems people love or hate them, because they have no gun skills and bitch about accuracy. You’re video demonstrated “practical “ accuracy it was spot on, I have many bolt guns and learned to shoot with iron sights as a boy and in the military, as with all things precision takes practice. I’m knee deep in Winchester 149gr, not match grade, but readily available and most likely goto ammo. Thank you for the demonstration
ОтветитьWhere did you get the wood furniture?
ОтветитьTalk in Yds not meters
ОтветитьI bought my M1A Socom 16 back when they first came out. I love ARs but I've always wanted a short rifle with more muscle. When it came out I was like....That's the one I've been waiting for ! I've never regretted it and have never had any issues. Can take down cover that my AR won't even scratch. Great vid and good info. Well done.
ОтветитьNice rifle!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed your review, just ordered a tanker.
ОтветитьGreat way to screw your paint up 🎨 on your truck 🛻 that brass flying into it
Ответить
