It is a pretty neat idea, if you want to "compete" with Renegades and Scramblers, but when you say it rides like a 4WD Raptor, it is because it basically is a 4WD Raptor, adding shaft drive/belt, LOL. I would probably just go ahead and get a Raptor and flick it through the trails if I knew i was gonna get dirty like a sport quad.
Ответитьdid u see the new raptor 4x4?
ОтветитьGreat job on the build. Do you guys think the Yamaha Wolverine 850 engine could work in the grizzly or would a ground up redesign be needed to make any kind of sense or extreme fabrication and welding measuring lol thanks for any feedback this is something I think a lot of people would like to see
ОтветитьI love it. The grizzly is such a great platform.
ОтветитьMust be fun AF ! Great build
ОтветитьIt’s cool to build things and express your own thoughts and vision, that being said I wouldn’t spend the money building when Polaris and can am already make 1000 cc 4wd quads that are ready out of the box
Ответитьoh great...now i need to buy another grizzly
ОтветитьThis is a terrible video. You did nothing to show how your mods improved the quad in the trails or track or any sort of timing. All you did was cut the fenders and make a 4 minute commercial for all the brands you bolted on. Massive letdown.
ОтветитьI totally agree the grizz has more to offer. Yamaha could definitely kick can am and Polaris off there pedistal if they really wanted to.
Ответитьvery cool, id be curious to see an 850 scrambler or renegade, or even a 1000 of each do the same little course and see what kinds of times you get from those stock machines compared to this heavily modified one
ОтветитьMost awesome!!!
ОтветитьLove it. Awesome build.
ОтветитьDid you happen to weigh it before and after? Or can you weigh it and compare it to advertised weight.
ОтветитьYamaha (and everyone else) needs to step up their quads and bring back sport quads OR bring this to market.
ОтветитьFull test ride review upcoming?
ОтветитьCould you do this with a Suzuki Kingquad 750? 🤔
ОтветитьLove it! Please Please Please do a comparison video with the others, Renegade 650/1000 and the Scrambler 850/1000. Obviously there is a bunch of money in this grizzly but it would just be cool to see how they do on a small test track/woods section or just back to back reviews and drag races. I may have missed a video but also what engine mods got done. Raptors can make 60-65hp pretty easy without splitting the case. I would assume 55-60hp in this. It's anywhere from about 40 - 190lbs less weight that the others.
Very very cool build, well done
Nice job guys
ОтветитьImagine if yamaha slapped a yz250 engine in a sport quad.yeah 😂
ОтветитьBrute enters the chat
ОтветитьThat is awesome and everything, but I still want my honda trx450r and ltr450 and banshee
ОтветитьRaptor with 4-wheel drive! 🥰
ОтветитьThat is rhe ultimate Yamaha Grizzly right there. Awesome build AJ 🤘🏻
ОтветитьThe yamaha 700engine has a lit of potential, you see a lot of turbo raptors with huge modifications and they stay reliable, without having too much gadgets, even know maybe renegades and scramblers have more bling bling but i dont trust them at all, i worked at a brp dealership once and god they are a pain in the ass to maintain, im ready to sacrifice a bit of performance and fancy gadgets to keep the peace of mind you have with a yamaha or honda, and also vtwins sounds like harley davidsons wich i dont like at all
ОтветитьWhat about the patent they just filed for to put the R-max motor in an atv????
ОтветитьYamaha could really do something with this idea. 100+ HP is simply too much for a quad 95% of the time. I still believe the grizzly with its power output and lighter weight is more of a everyday sweet spot. On the trail especially. 40 ish HPs is nice!
ОтветитьYou guys need to do this with the new honda rubicon 700 yes, even though it's still just a rincon and the motor doesn't have as much power as the grizzy but you gotta do it for us honda fans
ОтветитьWould love to borrow for a month or more
ОтветитьI dare you to do this with a cforce 1000.
ОтветитьId sell my first born for that thing. Which is saying something. Cause he's an only child.
ОтветитьAwesome video! Well produced and shot!
ОтветитьGreat work guys!! Please take note Yamaha!
ОтветитьWatched the first Yamaha build. Now watching this build both were very very cool. Then started thinking. How cool it would be to do a wolverine 450 build. Based of the kodiak 450eps. Kinda like the 450 wolverine could buy around 2008 or so. This build along with the high mileage Honda Rincon are both great episodes.
ОтветитьThat is an awesome build. Looking forward to seeing all the details.
ОтветитьWhat did you get the overall weight down to?
ОтветитьScheiße ist das ein Genieales Gerät ❤
Super Arbeit habt ihr da abgeliefert👍.
Sieht einfach Fantastisch aus die Maschine. 👌👌👌👌
Yamaha should build this as a production unit
ОтветитьMuch like 10 or so years ago, what an amazing mod to an iconic ATV. I never contemplated moding a Utility ATV in this way. After seeing this, I want to.
ОтветитьAwesome!!!!
ОтветитьRaptor with 4-wheel drive. Love that!
ОтветитьPretty Sweet...But I have a Raptor and a Grizzly, so.... The Best of both Worlds. 😎
Ответитьhow much was that build compared to buying a stock can am or Polaris? and less power??? cool but not realistic for everyday buyers
ОтветитьThat intro was killer!
ОтветитьYamaha really needs to put somthing like this together. Between polaris, can am and yamaha, the competition would be outta this world
ОтветитьI been doing the same thing to a
Sportsman XP1000 but it's going to be more of a
insane performance sport quad with a 11 lbs carbon fiber body and cut off everything that was not necessary I'm getting close to
700 lbs dry or 750 wet .
Also have a gear reduction, custom clutch work ,highly modified air box and RJWC exhaust with the
DYNOJET POWER VISION 3
Stage 3 109 HP
Stage 3R 113 HP
Check it out on
Polaris ATV Forum
DARK KNIGHT.
DRAGY VIDEOS
coming soon.
0-60 should be in the 5's.
Awesome job. I would buy that if I saw it sitting in the showroom.
ОтветитьIf only there was an aftermarket parts company you could work with to make different stage kits of this build you could buy. Like Dennis Kirk or someone like that.I think you guys built a great machine. 👍
ОтветитьCan’t wait for the price breakdown and see more of the aftermarket that you used. I watched every video of this build and you do a great job on this and the Polaris video of the Explorer. I believe it is.
ОтветитьJust buy a renegade or scrambler
ОтветитьVery nice buid guys
