Sworkz Zeus Truggy & MT Full Review & My Thoughts

Awesome review! Seems like most other channels won't give an RC a bad review because they're worried about damaging a relationship with the manufacturer or followers. Thanks for saying what you really think Gary!

Well you had me untill you got to the "your thought" section. You were very fair and objective in the beginning. This kit is a buggy lenght chassis with truggy arms adapted from a race kit. THAT IS EXACTLY what the MT410 is!!!!! Now they way you drive it, which is basically drive in a straight line and hit jumps 20-30ft in the air is NOT what it was designed for. Neither is the MT410. BOTH platforms require upgrades to take that kind of punishment. You didn't put the aluminum chassis braces or the aluminum servo mount on the Zeus. Then you beat on it and expected it to hold up like the MT410. IMO that is a disservice to the truck. Now that said it's your opinion and your experience. I can only say watch my videos, watch Texas Tech custom RC videos, even watch RC Network and Aussie RC playground videos and you will see this truck holding up. In my experience the Zeus is an excellent DRIVING kit, probably the best handling RC I have, and I have 2 Teknos and 3 Arrmas. The reason I am passionate about this is because you have a pretty big following and now after this review most people will not buy it and they will be missing out. Rant over!!

Great review Gary. Wish I could find time to do something like this. Without parts availability why would anyone buy one of these, that's a product killer imo. Didn't you review a different rc that was the same way? No parts and you had to buy a complete aftermarket axle due to a bad cup?

He'll yea bro.."not even close to the KING TEKNO MT410"..YOU SHOULD MAKE SOME MORE MT410 VIDEOS WITH DIFFERENT ELECTRONICS TIRES ETC..anything to see the MT410 in action...

I to agree with Aaron Weycker, the Sworkz Zeus is a great platform. I also own (2) custom tekno et48.3 truggys, (1) custom MT410, the Zues and a few other rc's. I'm going to be getting a Sworkz 35-TE as well soon and that's because the Sworkz brand is great quality if you know anything about the brand. Just hard to get parts at times, but with Amain starting to carrying Sworkz more and more. That's not the case as much. The Zeus is a great truck and just like the mt410. If you're going to beat the hell out of it. You need certain upgrades. If you watch my video of the Zues. You'll see the upgrades I've done. I've beat the piss out of my mt410 and the Zues. The only thing I've broke/bent on the Zeus. Is a rear driveshaft. I've upgraded the front and rear on the Zeus with team associated universal driveshafts. They fits perfectly and I've had zero issues since. I run universals on mt410 as well. Both get treated the same and both have held up the same. The Zeus is more of a truggy to me than a monster truck but both are great trucks. If you drive with your eyes close or you don't know how to drive. You're going to break more parts more often. That's not the trucks fault or the manufacturers fault. It's the person holding the remote. Most people here commenting don't even own a Sworkz or an Sworkz Zeus and most likely don't have the mt410 as well. They just hop on a band wagon and put something down without trying it themselves. Don't knock something unless you try it yourself first.

Yeah with no parts available why even consider it. Maybe in the future they'll step up the parts game.

Your experience is of course, unique to you. I respect your opinion & acknowledge that the MT410 is arguably the best platform of its kind currently available on the market right now. That said, I think you've undersold this one.

Interesting about the turnigy servo. I have one & my friend has several in his cars. We have no complaints about ours at all. Wonder if yours has a problem.

was running on 4s as normally and as usual and there was no water no sunny day!.
the first 10 minutes .. it failed.
from your experience what it could be ?
how to prevent that from happening next time?

Hey Gary, great review! Very valid points and as your videos show your experiences weren't the best and no one can argue those. My personal experience with this rig has been the opposite than yours. On my experience mine have only broken cosmetic items with only the 3 braces and the rear chassis holder being upgraded to aluminum. This rig has actually been more durable than my tekno mt410.
My tekno has been mediocre durability wise. I actually take this more than my tekno. So I wouldn't say it's a pos to anyone reading these comments, one of my personal favorites. Anyway keep up the great work and keep on kickin ass!

The mt4-g3 is even better than the MT410..😂

You can drill with a hand drillgun and a normal bit on aluminum. Al is soft shit. Can cut it pretty easy too with handtools

This was my first kit and other than a couple bobbles and one page in particular it went together smoothly.. I love my zuez deff a style of truck I like ..and man is the thing quick

Damn too bad. I bought a Tekno MT410 at the same time a mate bought a Sworkz Zeus. I hope he has better experiences building and driving it. ^^ Glad I went for the Tekno though :D

So they're basically identical, one just has bigger tires and your reviewing them like they're going to be different....ok
