I think the idea here is that this SS4 will lead Goku to Unlock a new form after the god blue form that will surpass the ultra instinct, cuz it will make Goku tap into his Primal Force, thus unlock higher instinct in Primal form so white golden monkey, and that is the form Beerus foreseen.

The only possible reason as to why SSJ4 is not in Super is possibly because Goku's tail is missing. Other then that I don't see how the transformation make sense in the show, but giving this one a free pass SSJ4 is epic regardless.

The form could potentially be stronger then any form that follows, we just dont know exactly how powerful the 3rd eye will get.. We already know its far superior to any of the Buus and its only been getting stronger as the fight goes on. If its takes a ssj4 fusion to beat gomah then that itself is putting Gomah well past any god form considering Base fusion now because of the ToP and Broly movie are now above SsjBlue goku, we can potentially be looking at a gomah thats UI tier or stronger when he gets fully going. Which honestly would make sense considering the demon realm is the origin of the multiverse and the eye is supposedly one of the strongest things from it.

Man maybe unpopular opinion but I wish ssj god would have some characteristics of this new ssj4 type. Especially a tail and maybe even this type of hair. I am not particularly a fan of the haircoat although its ok. But yes these transformations aesthetically could be combined for a simple but cool god form

I think it'll be connected to the Ozaru. I think it will tie into the legend of the super saiyan god. I think THIS is what the Super Saiyan God was up against. Just fighting against the Ozaru wouldn't warrant a power beyond Super Saiyan. Unless we're talking about Ikari, but they'd have to lose their tails to use that power. I think it makes more sense that they achieved this version of Super Saiyan 4, possibly with the help of a past Demon King, since each can live thousands of years. Even the Glind have God Ki and are tied to the Destroyer Gods and yet are born in the demon realm. Its possible this demon king gave them some sort of demonic power, with ties to God Ki.

I always felt when the, let's call it "God line" was introduced the forms felt lacking. They were simply recolorings of base and the orginal forms. It felt like if you were to imagine the Saiyans at the pinnacle of their power, SS4, ie a form very much paying homage to Sun Wukong. Would be what they look like.

Buuuuut with the reintroduction of the SS4 with the red hair and eyes. They can in fact play with the fact when mixed "God Ki" the hair color of the current form changes. Base Black becomes red. The standard ss yellow becomes blue.

And depending on your mental state silver for UI. Purple for UE.

They could easily tie SS4 into the current continuity by rationalizing that Saiyans at the end of day need to channel the power of the Great Ape in humanoid to reach that true final pinnacle and mix it with God Ki. Without the God Ki, the hair is black and the eyes yellow. With it, it looks like what you see in Daima.

As to why neither Goku nor Vegeta would pursue this form, you can hard lock it the way GT did. You need the tail and be capable of transforming into the ape.

However one character currently is an exception to this rule and that is Super's Broly whose powers are based on naturally channeling the Great Ape's power which had him compete with Goku and Vegeta's God forms with no issue. Meaning not only is focusing the Great Ape's power that much of a multiplier but Broly who is already adept at channeling it can reach SS4 by himself with no tail required.

That's the route I would use to tie it in anyway.

If ss4 is demon realm and UI is heavenly realm, it might be a big no no to combine the two. It might lead to a "reset" leading right back to the tournament at the end of Z. You know for fact Goku cannot not do this if it's a possibility.

Maybe to reach this form all saiyans will need their tail as well as reach SSG and while in that form turn into a red oozaru which once controlled turns them into this version of SS4

For me the more I see it the more I dislike it. It's like a pinkish blur. The colors need to be broken up, that's why GT's Super Saiyan 4 looks so amazing.

I think this form is made cannon for gotenks to use in the series because only they don't have a unique transformation.

Yall actually insane in the comment field here. People are forgetting GT is a fan fiction literally created by a studios own animators as an anime only tv show. It never was and never will be canon to the dragonball source material. Just like Daima never was and never will be because its not made by the og author and is not related to the source material. Daima and its ssj4 is however what GT would of been if the og author made it back then, since he did help out with designs this time around.
