How to Effectively Navigate the Google Domains Acquisition by Squarespace

Im at a loss here. My Domain migrated to Squarespace several weeks ago. I want to continue using Squarespace, but it has expired since my payment failed to auto renew. Nowhere on my Squarespace account does it allow me to update my billing info. Anyway you can assist ???

After ~20 years of building websites and moving to Google Domains exclusively, because of the easy interface, I now have to probably find a new registrar lol

So is there anyway you can still do aliases I just rated up my business and they already did the transfer 😢

great video, thanks. V p'ed off about this Google Square Space deal. only just changed from a rip-off isp in Jan 2023, I was pleased with the ease and price of the Google domains, square space will inevitably crank up the costs after acquiring all these domains. Feels like a con.

How about firebase? what will happen to that?

Yeah as someone used used square space and GoDaddy for years I think it's fine. I saw your video about google domains and was about to start buying more from them so it's sad but squarespace is good from my experience. The new UI is a much needed improvement by the looks of things

I need some help. I am new to domain purchasing and getting business email of your domain. I wanted to purchase a domain from google domain on 7 September but it got delayed and on 8th, the whole thing was transferred to squarespace. I bought the domain there and deployed my site to it. Everything went great. Now I want to get a business email for my domain. On Squarespace, the google workspace registration has failed multiple times, I tried various times. Then I decided to just buy google workspace and verify my domain there to get the email. Now, I have an email from the domain but the domain is not verified. I added the MX records correctly with the both the old way of adding a preset and also adding custom records in the dns settings but the domain is not verifying. Pleas help.

I moved to Google Domains from GoDaddy just because of your suggestion. I am kinda frustrated right now. I loved the Google Domains.

Interesting choice Tony. I would have opted to move the domains to another registrar such as CF or Namesilo.
