I FOUND THE ANSWER! IF YOUR PHONE IS ON LOW POWER MODE IT WONT PLAY! SOMEONE WROTE THIS ON A MESSAGE BOARD LOL

This is not actual anymore. The newest versions don't have the background icon anymore under the media

What if that little icon is greyed out? it still not letting me play my video in the background.
