Later he was declared as Son-of-God. Again, declared as God, now he has been declared as Super-God by Pope. Very soon Jesus will be declared as Super-Super-God. Bible is a collection of various gospels. Gospels are written by ordinary men on the basis of gossiping. 16,500 contradictory Gospel's on Jesus are kept in the underground Museum of Vatican City. No body is allowed to read these. Out of these, four Gospels has been included in Bible. Please comment.

Food for thought when considering christianity and other religions such as hinduism, islamism, etc. We have all heard of followers of other religions, such as those mentioned above, having an encounter with Jesus Christ that is so profound that they become christians. Has anyone ever once heard a story about a christian who had an encounter with buddah or allah or any other false god that was so profound that they converted to that religion? I have never heard even one story of that happening. Has anyone else here heard any stories of that happening?

Its is conceptually very frazzling to try to reconcile trinity into monotheism at an empirical level (different definitions, monotheism is one vs tri is three) There is no explicit trinitarian doctrine in the new testament.

1. In studying comparative religions, I found Abraham preached monotheism (one God who sent him as a prophet ), Moses preached monotheism (one God who sent him as a prophet). So far none have claimed divinity.

2. Then Jesus comes (earlier Christians' debated whether he was God or not until emperor Constantine blended his Pegan beliefs and Christianity follows from that) and the concept of monotheism becomes trinity .

3. Then another claimed prophet arrives (Mohammad) and reverts back to preaching monotheism in its pure form (One God who sent him as a prophet)

Points 1 and 3 certainly offer ease of understanding of monotheism
Point 2 is an outlier

Side note: Do Christians believe Moses predicted the coming of Jesus ? (Deuteronomy 18:15, 18 NIV). Point against divinity of Jesus. Moses claiming another prophet like him will be sent to the children of Israel.

5. At time of Emperor Constantine, Pagan practices in Christianity well established. Constantine raised Pagan himself and accepted the newly transformed Christian faith that blended his ancestral Pagan religion (Blended his ancestral belief of unconquered Sun and the Christian God and believed the 2 to be compatible- perhaps 2 views of the same Deity- ( Justo Gonzalez Historian)
6. Constantine chairs council of Nicaea to decide what he believes Christianity should be- Presbyter Arius disputed issues centered on the natures and relationship of God (the Father) and the Son of God (Jesus) and doesn't believe Jesus is God.
7. Constantine stamps all the approvals and unite under Christianity and sets the stage for all modern Christians practices emanating today. Burns all other versions of the christian scriptures which conflict with his beliefs
8. Christianity didn't destroy paganism, it adopted it ( Historian Dr William Durant)

The origin of the Christian cross is also linked to emperor Constantine

Question: Is Christianity today based purely on what Jesus preached originally or what Emperor Constantine felt it should be based on his ancestral beliefs?
