So turns out that Vladislav was the inventor of the term 'thirst trap'.

The mirrors used to have a silver coating under the glass, to make the reflection.
That's why vampires could not see their reflection in mirrors, however, nowadays, mirrors have aluminum coating instead of silver, so they should be able to see themselfs in modern mirrors, so there is a tip for you vampires.

Also, they should not appear in any photos if there is silver in the process of making/developing the photo.

The reason vampires don't have a reflection is because they're demons possessing dead bodies, and so aren't QUITE of the material world. They also don't cast shadows. At least, if you go by Dracula by Bram Stoker.

I just got an idea for a sequel. In the future this film is found by some young ambitious documenters. Who follow a story and a string of odd clues that bring them into the vampire and supernatural world. Then their own documentary becomes a survival film as they try not to get eaten.
