Can I use HITFILM EXPRESS to edit a video?

Bro can u please make a video on how to add the animated (sliding) crop for cinematics in (hitfilm express)

I recently switched from After Effects to Hitfilm Express and am so thrilled to see some similar effects and how they're done between both programs!

Another way (that won't look as good but is maybe easier) is to screen record yourself typing or writing letters against a green screen (for example in MS paint). Then you can easily add it against a background with the green screen effect.

For some reason when i try exporting, it cuts off alot of parts of the letters. In the viewer it is perfectly fine. Can anyone help

I have spent a good portion of a day trying this. Tried not using the opacity function and was able to see the animated text. Still was not able to superimpose it over existing video. This is a poor tutorial.
