Kinda wish they had heavy armor at 200 as mid with extra padding kinda defeats the point of heavy and i would take it most the time as it wont come with a mobility hit.

Wish the banana hazard suits would provide resistance to bile, spike traps, and acid rain.
I'm fighting you on this, and hopefully some souls will see it -- advanced filtration (with vitality, god it needs it) is such a godsend on bugs, it unlocks the true potential of gas as a tool for protection -- you hide in smoke grenades so you should be able to understand this, this passive let's you operate in gas clouds pretty much entirely unbothered -- I can't express how many times being able to just pave my way with gas has completely trivialized certain objectives and outpost, including mega nest -- seriously give this thing a try with gas nades and a gas strike -- just gas and go, don't even worry about the bugs.

ОтветитьI wish we could apply whatever passive we wanted onto whatever armor we wanted, with it spouting a unique visual effect depending on what is equipped..like if we chose the grenade one, you'd actually see more grenades on your body. Etc.
There could be a system that makes mixing and matching different passives into it's own minigame
Thanks for the break down! How armor Actually amplifies damage makes literally zero sense. light armor should be 10% damage reduction, medium 20%, and heavy 25 or 30%. Why does the damage start above 100??? Lolol

ОтветитьIn short, as in many games, half the difference between good passives and bad passives relate to whether or not you are a "good" player. If you take heavy armor or damage reducing passives to keep you alive longer, you are planning to fail, as they only help when you are getting hit. If you instead instead get better at the game (better player positioning for combat, better at maintaining space from melee or using cover from range, faster reactions for dodging, and generally better situational awareness so you just don't end up in places where you get hit) , you stop taking most defensive passives or sacrificing speed and stamina to heavy armor. You don't need armor if you don't get hit. And if you move faster, run longer, and gain dps through offensive passives, you kill enemies faster and have targets that can hit you... Gameplay snowballs in either direction based on you performance.
ОтветитьArc resist armor is very handy if you take Tesla Towers. I like to use them on bugs, and it's real easy for a bug to get in the right spot and complete an arc to you, even if you stay out of range. Tesla Towers can be godly if used right, making the armor a strong niche pick. Same thing with Servo Assisted. It is very helpful if you take Orbital Napalm. The barrage radius is so high it's hard to throw it far enough and not be in range. I've seen many people throw it as far as they can and if they don't retreat immediately, the first shell lands on their head. I also like long range grenade chucking and it helps there too. With this armor, I can dunk a grenade in a bug hole from a loooong way away. Same thing with throwing a Strafing Run at a Fabricator. I could run over there, or I can throw it from here and move on sooner.
ОтветитьI love the gas build, and the more players using it the better. You can wipe out whole nests with the grenade pistol while nearly entirely safe

ОтветитьFrom what I remember reading, the recoil passives of Engineering Kit and Fortified basically treat your standing recoil as if you were normally crouching, your crouching recoil as if you were prone, and very minor benefits to being prone since at that point recoil on anything aside from the heavy machine gun would be non-existent.
ОтветитьI disagree about the advanced filtration passive. Putting a gas cloud around you is a great way to tank a bug breach. With the vitality booster gas causes negligible damage against you, while debilitating the bugs. I like to run bug missions with lockdown armor (heavy anti-gas) with a flamer to shut down big breaches.
I get its not S tier, but its at least C. Its better than unflinching.
I did not know that railguns could wipe fabricators, not very effectively it could help in a pinch

ОтветитьHey my dude, great video, watched both your booster video and this one. I think you're overlooking a few combos, one particularly is the servo assisted with uav booster. The ability to engage enemies 70-80 yards out (as you pointed out, before they can see you) with an orbital can be a devastating alpha strike.

ОтветитьInflammable is a great meme on the Termininds, if everything you use is fire based, I run an incinerator build that mandates its use, because of the accidental tendency to light myself on fire.
ОтветитьHe didn't mention the stim-gun with the Med-Kit passive. With the stim gun, the passive itself is actually pretty damn strong, especially if your trying to play a medic. I run Stim gun + Halt + Trench Paramedic + Dead Sprint (Only with Vit. Booster), and a single stim with just the Med-Kit passive can heal you for about 60% of your health, since normally it only heals for 33%, but with Med-Kit it heals for an additional two seconds. Experimental infusion ontop of that makes it so when you shoot one of your 24 stims at a player, especially if they're in light armor, they can go fast as hell without wasting a stim, plus a defense boost, plus theyre regenerating. A-B is still a pretty fair rating though

ОтветитьDemocracy protects moves up/down the ranks depending on how lucky you are. Was doing a kill bots mission on impossible (if anyone tries to say it’s easy lick my taint I’m only level 18) and I survived 4 back to back hits because of it. That allowed me to stim up and finish the mission bc I was on like 90% with only one more reinforce. My highest streak with it is 6 hits survived at 1 hp. If you’re unlucky though it’s damn near useless. My buddy can never get it to activate consecutively like me

Example: attaching a thermite grenade to a bike titan's head, or to a hulk.

ОтветитьAh, my fun artillery spotter build: servo perk armor with 380HE, Napalm barrage, 500kg, precision strike. Then I pick up whatever I find on the battlefield as support weapon. Peak physique for when you use AC, or any MG combined with Eruptor or Dominator.

Ответитьsquids are here, the giant walkers have arc weapons and they have arc towers placed around. The arc resistance armor is extremely useful since you can get up close to a harvester and deal damage and strafe it to get out of the way of their laser and the towers are often hard to spot in the new urban environments so its nice to not get one shot by something you didn't see. Definitely not F tier anymore.

ОтветитьI run groundbreaker armor because the drip is unmatched. The passive is just a nice bonus.
