Duke didn’t adjust, they kept playing a frantic NBA style game. They needed a playmaker guard who could slow down the game, and run plays while running an offense. Houston’s D deserves all the credit! Yes, the over the back call ob Flagg was bogus. And to be an all time great, Flagg needs to hit that shot.

Yes there was a collapse in the final minute but Houston outscored Duke 25-8 in the final ten minutes and allowed Duke 1 made field goal during that time (a 3 by Flagg). Houston was the superior team for what was essentially the fourth quarter and that's where championship games are won and lost. To me Houston took the game as much as Duke lost it.
