Great video, IMO it seems way too similar to BFBC 2, I mean, we have enough gritty realistic shooters, but this one is nearly identical. That being said, it does look pretty fun.

thanks for posting, ill give this a spin iguess, but ill probably cancel my pre-order. it just doens't look like its enough to warrant 60$ US. if the pre-order came with weapon unlocks or something that'd be different. if they really wanted to sell more they'd remove the preorder requirement to play the beta demo.

I think they will fix the problems by games release, like the grenades lol.

Finnally, i've been interested to see a video giving a decent impression without screaming all over the mic :)

@bassanese123 funny enough every time i tried to set the bomb in my games the bar would fill to the top and nothing would happen. this is more like a pre-alpha than beta.

@TheGoaltender94 Its pretty much a mod of BFBC2. For $60 dollars..... which probably explains the utter lack of support with BFBC2 Its a port(it tells you to press B to reload on the city map). Another game that wont tell you what your ping is, no prone, hit boxes and explosions are fucked. I rarely complain about games especially betas but my experience with BFBC2 made me ask for a refund on this and I have never ever done that before. I am lost on how people consider BFBC2 good let aone this

@HQFOX2 saying that does not make this game not suck. MW2 was fucked but this is even more fucked. Were paying $60 for a mod. Theres really nothing new. Except minor thing that are actually worse then BFBC2. There are waaaaay less unlocks and the unlock system is super retarded. As of last week I say fuck EA dice they have lost my faith completely. How do you fuck up BATTLEFIELD? really? Are you willing to tell me that either modern warfares or Bad companies were better than BF2? No way.

@mistereveready The worst part is this will probably only get a minor tweak and hit the shelves. I remember everyone(myself included) saying to relax its a beta in the BC2 one. The beta was actually better than the current state of the game. Idk how people play Bc2 the way it is.

@TheGoaltender94 oh sry I thought you were asking about MOH. Bc2 is still a mess. You consider that a smooth game? It runs like shit on most peoples system, the hit boxes are a joke, WE STILL have yet to get a map pack(your watching why). They STILL havent unfucked the knife. I would play it if I could actually get in a non laggy server. I would not consider it a good game. I wish they would of just upgraded BF2 with new graphics but noooooo. Damn i miss that game.

@dgillary Well, to be honest, i can get into a non-laggy server almost every time. I dont see anything wrong with the knife (in some cases it pisses me off when i get knifed across the room). and it runs fine on my system. And i think most people would agree with me, i think its just you. And MoH is way different from Bad Company. If you played it you would understand.

@dgillary bc2 does have some issues, but its overall good. just severely neglected. the spawns are shit in bc2, so is the knife, at least for me. i've stabbed someone multiple times point blank nothing. the not so clear arena boundaries suck. but it and tf2 are the only things i have left after losing ut99 :'(. atm moh feels like bc2 but w/o all the handy breakable walls. aslo i wish companies would drop the obscure vision events. like out of bounds and near dead. or lessen their effects.

@WNRvids hate to double post, but it was a few seconds before i recognized it myself. the only big differences ive seen were that moh to me, seems brighter.

@WNRvids theirs also a few more, like destruction is different, weapons, gameplay for the most part.

@TheGoaltender94 I did play it(got my first refund ever today) and I do understand. You want to be delusional and smile while they crap out this stuff go ahead. But nothing will ever change. Opinions and everything else aside their still asking $60 dollars for this and unless it has one hell of a SP game I doubt its worth it. Doesnt it even bother you that we have gotten almost NO support for Bc2 because of this? It is dirty business practice and should not be rewarded.

@mistereveready this game was my last straw..... I have made excuse after excuse but im done. How do you destroy something like BF2? Remember how good that game was? How do you do something this ridiculous when bringing back one of the most popular game series of all time? PC gaming is circling the drain IMO. Anyone who thinks MOH mp is anything but a joke is still in denial and im not paying 60 dollars for SP.

@dgillary i don't remember how good it was, i've only bought it recently lol. but it looks interesting. i agree, gaming in general seems to be spiraling into a shitty singularity. cloning each other, dictating to customers what drm will abuse us, what mods if can, will be done, etc. same first time i think ive ever asked for a refund from steam. i just didn't find moh beta fun. bc2 does desperately need a patch and community maps/mods. tthat would fucking own hard.

@WNRvids well i think its too corporatized. i miss the time when pc games were largely about the customers and devs having fun. what was the fun factor? what new exciting things could they do, and what options were available for the customer if they didn't like what was given to them. i've noticed too, that most games now are just expansions. 1-2 game modes & shitty sp. hardly, if any lan abilities. even bc2 has wow like grind incorporated. watering of the soup imo.

@dgillary I do agree. I'm hoping though that the Onslaught and Vietnam DLC will be good though, cant wait.

@dgillary i've been gaming for years, but never was into military-ish shooters. i miss unreal tourament etc. i wouldn't have looked at bc2 if ut3 hadn't been so half assed. too glittery imo. i do know, i haven't played/liked all the games others may have liked, but i know what i like and why. if a quality sequel to the descent series would ever be released i'd buy that immediately. quality includes no gfwl, securom, or ubisoft umbilical cord.

@TheGoaltender94 i wouldl ike prone in moh/bc2. the only good thing i've noticed about that is if i see someone horizontal, it means they are dead.

There are 4 unlocks for each of the 3 classes. Thats it. Trust me the beta got real boring real quick. They replaced getting noob tubed with getting smashed by mortars or artillery every 10 seconds. Like I said before this is the first time I have ever asked for a refund.... Im not tellign anyone what to do but beware.

@HQFOX2 The way this game seems to work I'm going to say no. The unlocks go with rank and you need a shitload of points to get teir one which unlocks the mighty silencer. I'm pretty sure that is how it's going to work I may be wrong though. However I have never seen a change like that from beta to release.

Man I hate how the character moves and shoots and turns. Just like BC2. They need to learn how to be more fluid in the characters turning and movements and aiming. MOH is basically a remake of BC2's game engine. I hated how BC2 played: Slow paced, awkward running, moving, aiming, etc. I mean I put it at the highest sensitivity and its still too damn slow. Needs more fluidity in the movements. They should have used motion capture to make the game.

I played the beta for the 360 i liked bbc2 so i thought this was sweet. If you can just get used to the gameplay physics and mechanics its awsome. just my opinion though.

Nobody complains about the COD games being similar they are pretty much identical with the Game play just added a gay over powered kill streak system and secondary weapons to the new one apart from some little changes the game play is essentially the same, the thing is in my opinion BFBC2 game play is better than COD so I’m happy with this game if it is the same or similar to BFBC2 :)

@WNRvids You know I never thought of it like that :P but you could look at it like this they are Different developers, instead of same brand or series, so I would expect a significant difference (well I would want one). This is not saying that this is right but you could look at it like this :)

i agree with you on the sound, the sound design is really bad, everythin sounds like its been recoreded for a few seconds with the worst mics and then made longer by duplicating the first 2 seconds. I don't understand why the taliban have arty, mortors perhaps but even so i think they should be a bit more speradic and take about 20 seconds for it come in. They need to keep more of the bad company 2 bloodline and less of the mw fast pace, quick respawn no team work. i'm guessing no medics then.
