I love all your videos. I started with Gorky Park video, and have seen loads. They're all great and informative. I wonder whether your conversion from rubles to dollars might extend to British pounds and also Euros. Great food from the takeaway.

The food looks good but I always like to eat my sushi with soy sauce mixed with wasabi.
If you don't like the taste of the soy sauce from the takeaway, you may be able to find a special sushi soy sauce from the supermarket. They usually taste better than the regular sauce. Yamamori is the brand which I use, and it comes in a small bottle.

Keep practicing with the chopsticks. Even if you never learn the perfect form that would be acceptable in Japan, you'll acquire at least enough skill to use them in place of western cutlery. I can eat with them but admit that my form is all wrong but I don't really care.

funny. usually sushi chief, make a sushi roll and name it, after the area they work in or around it. to honor it. they dont have an Ufa roll? or they dont do that there in Russia?

I used to hate sushi for these main reasons: fucking expensive, too little of food, and raw fish. But now I saw this video I'll give it a try as soon I'll be in Moscow

That California roll is way different than the California roll in the US. If you look at videos that teach you how to use chop sticks you'll be a cultured expert in no time. The reality is if your not going to use chop sticks eating sushi, the alternative utensil is your fingers. Forks are frowned upon. You get a lot of value out of your take away sushi restaurants in Russia over the US. I'm wondering if all ingredients are real and not fake like it is in the US takeaway.

I've been told that actually you are not to use the chop sticks to eat sushi rolls. You use your fingers.

I have loved learning about UFA. Especially shows you dont drop the "Fbomb". I want to let my kids watch the show. But as a mother they had better never say that word. It is pretty offensive in the USA. But I love your enthusiasm and especially shows with your wonderful daughter showing children and family life.
My 20 year old daughter is currently living in Ufa for a few more weeks and I mentioned I have been watching your show and she asked the best places she needs to eat at before She has to leave. She LOVES sushi. What is the name of the store you recommend. She also had a desire to try horse meat before coming to Russia. But may be getting a little scared to try horse meat or steaks. Not sure if you have been successful getting a young American girl to try some horse meat. She LOVES to try new foods! It is a once in a lifetime opportunity! If you must use forks to eat sushi, use plastic and not metal. Plastic doesn't affect the taste.

basically sushi is cheaper in russia
however i doubt this stuff taste any worse then what i can get locally... (average sushi places)
