I got a Pixel 4XL for 50% off credit with Google Fi for Black Friday 2019 in Oh So Orange. It still does everything I need/want out of a phone, including mobile games. My only real complaint is battery life at 3700 mAh. I currently plan on hanging on to it until the Pixel 8, or possibly Pixel 9.

Og pixel, 2 xl and the currently the 6a, all had great expiernces with these devies. I had a LG v60 there for 2 years in between. I dont know I think Im partial to pixel. the features the build, had great luck with them. I highly miss wireless charging tho that was on the v60. I had some samsungs but I still just dont like the software and camera.

I love my pixel 4 and I'm still using it and yes I do play games on it I play Bingo blitz on it all the time and I find it hard to turn it back over I caught myself trying to a few times but I always stop before I go through with another phone it's a shame they do not need to retire this pixel 4

Good video, one idea when you recommend not to buy a now discontinued phone you should probably give a maximum price point at which it makes sense since most people would be planning to buy it refurbished and price can vary.

Using Pixel 4 alongside iPhone 12. Hate to see people who know nothing about tech be buying cheap Vivo or Oppo. If they spend their money on used Pixel 4 they'll be satisfied on how fast this phone is for it's price.

You can easily optimised Pixel by restricting apps that use lot of background process which is one the obvious is Facebook. Once you restrict Facebook, boom you'll never experience any freeze or stutter especially on latest Android 13.

As for updates, nothing beat Google for obvious reason.

I totally feel the same way about the red and gold suit in the comics. The MCU suit goes soo HARD.

I really FW the Superior Spider-Man suit. Doc Ock really took it to the next level, but didn't make it metal. The 2015 ASM Series suit is hands down my favorite!

What if you are getting this phone in brand new mint condition at the price of budget phone of today. Then will it be a good buy?

I'm thinking about getting one as an extra phone just cause I know it will be reliable and they're only like $110 now. Wouldn't get one as my only phone though.

Is still worth it to buy a refurbish one for 180€? The battery of my Xiaomi Mi 8 lite is aging and dying (using PixelExperience ROM at the moment):( and I don't have money to buy a brand new Pixel 6a :/
I don't game, only using for pictures, browsing, social and media.
Or Samsung Galaxy 10 is better, even with Exynos SOC?

Just 2 days ago my Galaxy S22 suddenly switched off and stopped working (no idea how that's even possible but it happens) and I gave it to service. In the meanwhile I borrowed my friends old Pixel 4 (I had one too but sold it long ago) and I'm shocked how good it works. I can barely see performance difference between this device and my S22, except for 1.5 hour SoT. I really think Pixel 4 was the only Google phone till date that was created with intention of being truly flagship and different. I will consider slapping new battery to it and just keeping it.

Just bought mine a month ago and still a good phone the only downside is the battery but the performance is still amazing.

2019 was really the golden age of android designs. The one plus 7 pro was my favourite along with the s10. Androids were so fun back then

Got one a few years ago for my dad and it's still speedy. The fact it's running Android 13 now too is impressive.

The camera quality and sensor speed is overlooked; Samsung phones a few years later still fall behind on quality and shutter delay. The Pixel camera quality is much better. S10s dont come close unless you want to wait 2 to 3 seconds for its autofocus to kick in.

Got the Pixel 4 last week. Indeed it exceeded my expectations! Excellent phone in terms of Software, camera, performance and Smootheness. The camera imo is just too good. I got it pre owned at a rate of 150$ (USD). The only problem with the phone is the 2800mAh Battery. I shifted from a phone with 5000mAh battery. So, getting barely 4 hours of SOT is just BAD. In conparison to the S10, this phone is just way better. I planned on buying the S10, but the S10/Samsung phones perfomance delays and the camera is just no good anymore. Anyday a Pixel 4 over the S10.

Thank you for the review! It's not worth buying anymore, but I'm buying one today xD. Maybe the XL version because of the battery. The unlimited Cloud storage that Google gave us until the Pixel 5 is just GREAT, and some people don't have a clue how good and priceless it is. Due to that and the fact that, in my opinion, the Pixel 5 is worse than the 4, I'm going for the 4 :D

I loved my pixel 4 when i had it. I used the telephoto lens soo much more than the ultrawide i now have on my 7a. I still wish the ultra wide was a telephoto on my 7a

After the Pixel 4 i had an iPhone 12 and Pixel 6 pro.
But still think the Pixel 4 was and IS still the best and "smartest" Phone ive ever had/have!
The haptic Sensor, Radar, Speed und Software are amazing.

Think I prefer this one, no hole or notch & the GPU is good enough, will have to see what kind of reception it gets though for sure to decide whether I keep it or put it back up for sale. Motorola has a good track record with reception so if this doesn't do it for me I'll be going that route with a hole screen unfortunately but at-least I don't use my phones screen a hole lot or I can just use the pixel as wifi / tab.

Give me money to get a better one

Formfactor is great. Not to big. Spec wise its actually better than the Pixel 5. I got it new 2 years ago for 200 Euro. Still for me the best budget phone to run Calyx OS on. One other thing that no other Pixel has is Face ID, which is pretty convenient.

You forgot two things in your review, that make this phone worth it over other phones even other pixels for some users: Calyx OS and Face ID.

Bro, you need to check out DXO mark and see the review on the pixel four series camera. It blew every single camera away in 2019 including the iPhone and the Samsung. It had the best high dynamic range. It had the best clarity, it had the best colors. The only complaint that people had was that didn’t have an ultra wide, but it had a telephoto zoom lens on both models, the standard, as well as the XL and they were stellar especially in low light and it had the best portrait mode capabilities. I don’t know why you have so much hate on this device, but it’s actually one of the best devices even to this day it still holds up. And then on top of that it had the best face ever. It’s the fastest face unlock and the most efficient. I don’t know man you seem biased.

Nah. Samsung phone doesnt hold a candle to this beast camera. 😂😂
