Always The Air Fryer Queen, stellar video🤗
ОтветитьDefinitely agree with the thermometer. I use it all the time.
ОтветитьBag holder for making marinade? 🫣 Pro tip, make the marinade in a glass (i use low glass ie thicker whiskey glas, everyone have those right), put the meat in a plastic bag, pour the marinade from the glass into the bag, rub and shake bag, done.
Bag holder imo below just no category 😅
Liners without holes = takes the whole airflow around your food (from bottom as well) out of the equation making for less crisp and more uneven cooking. Besides fat/juices will splatter onto walls of basket anyway, so still need to clean basket.
ОтветитьThe oil sprayer has quite many negative reviews saying its not in glass, only works a few months or best case a year and so on. Sure its the right link? Has sane comments as the knockoffs
ОтветитьI love my square silicone basket with tiny handles. Mine flattens down though so if I don’t need it tall. The little handles on the edge get hot, which makes sense since it’s an oven. I just use tongs, or 2 forks, or even the handle end of a couple of spoons to pull them up and out. They haven’t given me anything but great results.
ОтветитьI love my silicone liners (the ones with sides) especially for heating up cold fried chicken, keeps the grease away from the chicken and allows it to crisp back up. I just rinse it out and put it in the dishwasher.
ОтветитьThe girl speaks the truth.
ОтветитьI bought your cook book, it is great, thank you
ОтветитьOnly an American would choose one use paper rather than a multi use, similar item!
ОтветитьCan you use the sprayer for thinner liquids than oil? It mists nicely and I’d like something that I can use for water or alcohol, (for the indoor plants).
ОтветитьI thought the idea of air fryer was so air circulated to cook faster and reduce fat, how is the possible if you use the paper baskets?
ОтветитьThe silicone basket is useless for air fryers, BUT -- it's great for carrying a hot bowl.
ОтветитьI agree with most of your rankings (plus or minus a level here or there). An exception would be the silicon vs parchment baskets. I appreciate the re-usability of the silicone, and mine have fairly aggressive ridges on the bottom so they don't get in the way of airflow. After cooking, it needs to be cleaned, but I'm doing dishes anyway, so it just goes in the DW. I bought a set of 4 about four years ago for $2-3 each and only 1 is anywhere close to being worn out.
ОтветитьSooo awesome. tysm
ОтветитьLove the cheat sheet. I have on my fridge
ОтветитьThermometer is the bomb!
ОтветитьI love those silicone liners with the holes, and my silicone brush. I got silicone ramekins which are great. All wash up great in the dishwasher
ОтветитьI use baking paper as we can't buy the liners in my country. I don't find the air fryer hard to wash but I use the paper so that I don't lose the healthy fats. It's the one reason it took me so long to buy an air fryer because I thought you would lose the fats. The only time I don't use paper is when cooking bacon so that I can tip it out of the bottom and save it for cooking. I use a brush for my oil because I can't find a spray that isn't unhealthy seed oils. :(
ОтветитьThank you for such a complete list and explanation of so many air fryer gadgets. You didn't include a link for the type of plate grippers that you use.... there are so many styles out there. Would like to know which ones are tested tried and true.
I have a Kalorik Max Trio air fryer oven... but would also like to get a basket style.
Btw... I can not believe you had eight kids. Actually I can't believe you ever had one at all.... and still have that slender body! Please tell me they were all adopted. :) Shirley in NH
Great info - I use the silicone pot with handles in my instant pot for certain things.
ОтветитьNew subscriber here. You’re amazing. How do I get that cookbook and cheat sheet?
ОтветитьI enjoyed watching this. It may force me to throw out the original ninja wire rack that I've alao never used. That being said, I definitely like the first oil sprayer that you didn't like. I bought one for extra Virginia olive oil and liked it so much that I ordered 2 more; one another for light olive oil (used for baking), and the other I filled with distilled water for cooking for now. They spray oil a lot more evenly than the ones you like, and the pour spout pours evenly. The little cover keeps it dust-free. I guess it's a matter of preference. The video was very thorough. 👍
ОтветитьA pastry brush is not essential? We're cooking (and especially baking) very different, it seems.
ОтветитьGreat ideas...I think I just have 2 or 3 of everything you mentioned. Airfrying simplified my life! I use 1 or 2 airfryers depending on what I am cooking. I have a COSORI, since Christmas 2024, and this year around Thanksgiving I got myself a Typhur, thanks to your review of it. I needed a big one! Oil sprayer, parchment liners and spatulas/tongs are all I need, and use. I guess a thermometer would save me time, opening and closing the airfryer but once you are used to the products you cook you might do without it. Thanks for always giving us so many ideas! You are so real!
ОтветитьMy air fryer has a built in meat probe for temp…..couldn’t live without it!
ОтветитьI was interested in your cook charts. I don’t see the wattage to use on items. I have different wattage settings on my air fryer. Thank you.
ОтветитьEgg bite molds in an Instapot are awesome.
ОтветитьDo the silicone liner magnets work on the 6qt Cosori TurboBlaze? Mine should be arriving Monday. My current air fryer is a COSORI Air Fryer Max XL and very strong neodymium disc magnets are only slightly attracted to the basket so I know the silicone liner magnets would not work.
ОтветитьI do like the stainless steel mister that pumps up to spray. I did find that I needed to release all the pressure before I put it away and that kept it from clogging up. It sprays a nice find mist to really evenly oil. I confess I also have the EVO sprayer as well. I like it just to have another oil at the ready but it does not have as nice a light even mist but it does spray.
ОтветитьI love this and love your personality! You're the first person I ever seen that will go through the list with what must have, ok to have, and not to have, straight to the point without just "gimmick" (some contenters can fake it for more money to earn for useless products). I Subscribed you!
Speaking of that silicone liners, i bought me those (thinking it'll be less cleaning in the basket) same time when i bought my first air fryer. When i set it in air fryer with silicone with food, turned it on, not even 2 mins after turn on it set my smoke alarm off (it wasn't smoking or anything). I live in apartment and it seem that everytime i turn the air fryer on with silicone in it, it still set the alarm off....but it doesn't set the alarm off if cooking without silicones 🤷🤷..... any reason why it does that?
El molde de silicona me funciona muy bien y el papel para horno también
ОтветитьLiners with no holes…. Thoughts….you are effectively stopping the air fryer being an air fryer because circulation of air is removed.. the air fryer will still work but it actually will then becomes a normal oven….just a thought
ОтветитьJust came from your video bashing a cheaper air fryer... I'm sorry but you have lost your credibility.
ОтветитьI have to break down and buy the cookbook! So motivated to create new things in my air fryer. Also, those magnets to hold the liner in place are 🔥 and worth every penny! 🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
ОтветитьI am considering purchasing an air fryer, so I’m not well-versed in it yet. My question is, why would the parchment paper blow around if it has food on it holding it down?
ОтветитьThe only item I think is rated too low is the silicone brush. I would DEFINITELY place that in the must-have.
Ответить62yo NUBE to Air Fryers. I’ve resisted getting one because too trendy and I don’t need to be tempted to be making fries or tater tots. LOL Well, now I’m becoming a convert. Partly because of your channel. Thanks, I think. 😬 I just ordered a mess of “accessories” (stupidly BEFORE watching this video.) Luckily, I think I only ordered 2 things you recommended as never. One I’d still order because it’s the thing I’m getting the fryer for (mini-cupcake “pan” for mini-banana bread bites). The other (perforated flat liner) you had good points and I’ll probably return when it arrives. I also kept looking at the “kits” and thinking. I don’t need half that stuff but want the other half (I did NOT bite.) Been enjoying your videos!
ОтветитьI love my silicone liners. Before I had the metal ones that came with my air fryers . They were hard to clean and the black surface starting so coming off. I felt they weren’t safe to cook on. Putting a silicone liners on top of the metal cleaned so easy and I no longer worried about the black stuff coming off on my food.
ОтветитьYour "must have" digital thermometer has one problem common to all these designs. It’s made like so many things, for a right-handed person. The lefty has to read the numbers upside down. I think it’d be a pretty easy program change to make the display work both ways.
ОтветитьMe a gustado tu explicación, entonces me subscribo. Para encontrar cosas para la freidora, tengo los típico aparatos que vienen en los paquetes que compras. Me gustan las bandejas de pergamino. Yo solo tengo de silicona.😊😊
ОтветитьI bought that oil sprayer for myself and several family members. We all LOVE THEM! The sprayer either mists or sprays a stream of oil depending on how fast you press it. It's a must have for me. I use the pour spout when measuring out oil by the Tablespoon for a recipe. It's easier for me to control than a heavier bottle of oil as I have joint pain.🥰
ОтветитьToast holder good for pork slice or chops give it a try..
ОтветитьTry your doughnut silicone things with eggs! Because of the center part that creates the holes in doughnuts makes it so you don't have raw egg in the middle, BECAUSE THERE IS NO MIDDLE. Works great for me in my air fryer!
ОтветитьFinally an American who understands that using kitchen scales for ingredients is far superior to using "cups" and "sticks".
ОтветитьExcelente video, pero para los tiempos y temperatura interior y exterior es tan fácil como decírselo a la inteligencia artificial y te lo clava en tiempo y temperatura
