Congratulations Intel. You almost caught up to a GPU that is now over 4 years old? What is the point of this again? If someone showed you these side by side and told you the prices I bet no one would wait for 4 years for the Intel card for the $100 difference.

The b580 does beat the 3070 in Dying light and Spider man. And in a few other titles as well.
But generally the 3070 will be faster, unless you play certain titles with maxed out graphics where the game might not even boot, or have bad frame times like Indiana jones ect.
I hope intel can optimize their drivers much much better. Spider man, dying light and a few others show how good it COULD be performing.

"High settings" would be more than enough for a 250 bucks GPU.
(Of course you can set texture details always to ultra ... because the B580 has enough VRAM, while RTX 3070 has NOT!)

for people see power consumption its not real number its around 140 170 watt in 2k resolution and real price is 340 dollar 😒 so think carerully before buying 👌 110 -140 watt in 1080p i think

your tests are flawed - you should always use ultra textures and stuff that push VRAM to the limit - playing on medium with 3070 is no go

Did you use XeSS Quality on Arc when you used DLSS Quality on Nvidia? Because they don't have the same scale factors. For a fair comparison you should use FSR on both

i recon for their second series card vs NVidia's long term investment offerings, she's performing very well!!! Already seemingly a reasonable investment as Drivers will be continually updated for sure just my 2 cents..

The intel silicon has the horsepower, obviously. It all depends on driver improvements. As many updates as they put out for Alchemist, and how much better that got, Battlemage is going to age pretty well most likely.
What will really be interesting is how the next tier up GPU from intel performs, if they have one. No word on any releases upcoming as far as I've heard....

B580 gpu power consumption looks amazing but higher vram usage on most game tested compare with 3070 even though it still compete with fps 😮

My RTX 3070 never exceeds 145W, and the temperatures stay below 55°C during winter and 62°C in summer with an 875mV undervolt and a +600MHz memory clock. It even outperforms the stock settings due to the increased memory clock.

Indiana Jones is the first game that truly made me realize 8GB isn't enough anymore with my 3070, It was a good run tho the card has been great (purchased in 2021).
