Fear is there where we not sure In something ! When we have a little abillity to do something and big pressure , where we depends from another's thinking , where is unknown situation , everywhere where is ignorance . How to solve that ? Only way is face with problem , droges can't helps , thoughts create a problem and emotions pressure because those thoughts come from little experience and scare us , that is a mehanisam of fear, where we know something completely 100% than fear can't exist inside emotions and can't awake a thoughts , because we know when we know something , that is s practical things . If we never did something we can't cheat the mind we were did something , because we didn't do that in reality and fear is actually not mental problem , that is phisicall problem where we don't know how to handle with new things !? Confidence has realation with fear but that is not like a fear , that comes from succes and from forms of childhood and it is genetic problem. How can rooster have more courage and be braver than dog , if we know Dog is stronger animall ? What does mean ? Where is there answere ? Maby is some born with fearless . ? Actually someone who is weaker and smaller can be with more confidence in the fight with taller and stronger opponent , why ? Why taller and bigger men feel scare to fight with smaller one ? Why he don't has fait in self and his power , why he don't has a balls between legs to face it with weaker enemy ? That talks a lot !

As I've got older I've learnt that if I'm facing my fear(s) the best thing to do is to do an about turn and walk in the opposite direction. Fear gone...problem solved.

That's how I shortened my fear of failure and started some weird COMPANIES.

The pickup example isn't correct. If you have positive experience, yeah fear shrinks. But if you have negative experience (a girl tells you smth like: "Ask me for a number? How you can even thought about that? You're fucking nerd!" The trick is to get a lot of rejects, stay positive after it and learn to ignore them. Then you'll become more confident. So, it's more like swing.
