❤ Wow, so real and powerful.
ОтветитьAmazing , I love love love Byron Katie , thank you Alyssa ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьAdore Katie 😊 she helped me in my search for real me. My first "mentor" and she don't know it😅
ОтветитьYou are both so wise and beautiful.
This really got me thinking, what does it even mean to "like" someone? We want them to approve of us? Provide validation that we are "good" or "right"? Ultimately, I believe this stems from a lack of parental validation. Once i was able to identify and grieve the approval and validation I never received from my parents, I was finally able to heal my own need to be "perfect" for others. I finally learned that another's emotional experience has nothing to do with me and is not my responsibility to manage or fix. The freedom I feel now is profound. Thank you both.
As a side note, it rubs me the wrong way how much this woman cuts you off...I sense that you clearly look up to and respect her, but that does not mean that you deserve to be cut off everytime you open your mouth to say something...there is a way to address this respectfully as well. No matter how much we look "up" to someone, our inner workings and perspectives still deserve to be fully heard and allowed. ❤
ОтветитьSo beautiful to witness! Very powerful !! ❤

The self cannot be found in books. You have to find it for yourself, by yourself.’
ОтветитьByron is amazing - I wish the host However, gracious talked much less and let this master share her wisdom and let the conversation flow more. There was too much of an agenda. I’ve seen that with over and over again with host that part was disappointing for me. I have to say.
ОтветитьLoved this episode! When I went to download The Work app for my Android it said that the app" isn't available for my device because it was made for an older version" Please update🙏❤
ОтветитьI’m reading A Thousand Names for Joy & it’s life changing x liberating! I was so excited to see this chat between you two 🩷
ОтветитьOf course, maybe it was just me and as interview went on it was so much more fluid
Thank you for your comments
Thank you very much for both of you.... getting connected to our authenticity and spontaneity requires us to work deep inside ourselves and question our beliefs and ideas that we have acquired throughout our life unconsciously through our family and society.
ОтветитьHi Katie, I love reality!
ОтветитьYou had this amazing guest on, and you hardly gave her the space to talk?
ОтветитьI would love to see Martha Beck on your show 🧡🧡 I know it would be such a beautiful conversation between the two of you
ОтветитьThank you so much for your podcast. It has inspired me!
ОтветитьAltssa, you idolize Bill Gates??? And Oprah?? You "want to impress them"? Gates is responsible for moordoring millions!!
ОтветитьThank you for your podcast. ❤
ОтветитьByron Katie is wonderful. ❤You should have Sara Landon on your podcast too.
ОтветитьByron Katie apparently had a glimpse of the illusion of the "self" many years ago. Neuroscientists seem to also understand that the "self" is a mental construct, and there is no homunculus or "true nature" living inside us. That's a false identity. However, Byron Katie then reversed engineered her experience of no self so that others could sense the freedom too. But the endless self-inquiry of a false identity only reinforces it, and keeps the seeker in a futile loop of looking for an illusion. It's like a dog chasing it's own tail.
ОтветитьIt comes back to what your then boyfriend did work on: “Do I need them to like, love me?”
ОтветитьIt's about time. Hi Byron 👋 I'm a fan
