I think that there is certain truth in the film but also a lots of suggestions and tendency in the narrative.

He say he helped, but why would a person carry a 25sm long military's knife when going to a club or bar? The people he "defended" there wasn't any people who was on trial, or any witnesses to even observe this. Only his own words... The Roma are definitely not the poorest of the poor in this country!!! It's just a facade so that they can get government help. The poorest of the poor here in Bulgaria are the neglected elderly Bulgarians that spent their entire lives working for this country, and now their pensions are a joke, a slap in the face. Most of them get around 400-500 US dollars a month, let that sink in. You can't survive on this for sure!

Hi, from Bulgaria. I'm very middle class and I have to say that, yes - we have some problems with corruption, but Bulgaria is beautiful, full of life and very safe for the most part. 25 F, I can take an hour walk from the end of the city to the center at night in peace. Many gypsies choose to live the way they do. Many don't and are great people, but what I mean to say is that the issue isn't that Bulgarians are rasist. (Stanislav, however should probably stay behind bars and he definitely is rasist, so that sucks)
